Tacos Maria’s is truly my most favorite Mexican Food! I have lived all over the world via the military, and there is no finer Mexican I have eaten than Tacos Maria’s. She spends all of her time making her food from scratch, day and night. Even her desserts are from scratch. And while I hate to say this, because I don’t want these to be sold out all the time now, her Tres Leches cake makes me cry each time I eat it! IT IS SO DELICIOUS!! But so is her flan and other desserts, too! She also makes the best homemade pineapple water and corn in a cup! SO GOOD! My favorites are either style of the quesadillas, and also the enchiladas. I always order her cheese sauce on top of my enchiladas. Perfecto! Ms. Maria and her staff are also so kind and they work so hard everyday! This is by far my most favorite restaurant in town!! ❤️⚓️

Hooked at first visit! Tacos are amazing! Very filling. Beans were scrumptious! Rice was only lightly seasoned but good. Horchata was tasty, but possibly from a mix. Very clean, upbeat place! Eager to make this a regular!

Not enough salsa for tacos. Everytime I order 10 tacos I get four salsas half to 2/3rd filled, never enough, and now they’re charging for extra half filled condiments, don’t forget they’re charging 3.5% for card purchases. Much rather get tacos in Skiatook nowadays. Sorry Tacos Maria’s.

Not first time eating here. But first time review. Ours did come with a free loose hair. Good tamales. Right amount for me because I usually get too full and feel bad for wasting food

Tacos Maria is kind of a fast-food authentic taco joint. Dine in or to-go, drive thru pick up window. Inside, order at the counter, a very limited menu. Average Mexican food.
We had the Tamales, Pollo Loco, and chips and salsa (you have to order ‘em to get ‘em). On the salsa, I ordered the hot. Decent and needed for the meals. The tamales were fair, good tasting from the green sauce inside and not an overload of masa on the outside. The filling was very skimpy on the chicken. My wife wanted pork, but they were out. My Pollo Loco was weird, coarse ground, grilled chicken, floated on queso. Despite its appearance, the chicken was well seasoned and tasted good with the queso. Beans resembling canned and rice on the side.
Some have reported that the food is the closest that they have found to California Mexican food. While other reviewers in strong disagreement, love the restaurant and have posted pictures of appetizing looking meals. The restaurant is clean and not a typical OkieMex, run down hole in the wall establishment.
Frankly, the food is just 3 star OK. But here is the rub, for $27, I am very certain you can find better Mexican food in Bartlesville, with table service and complementary chips and salsa.

I tried tacos Maria for the first time. Typically when I eat authentic Mexican food, I go for the tacos al pastor. Unfortunately, it’s not the best taco I’ve ever eaten but at the same time it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever eaten, I’m originally from Oklahoma City and Southside Oklahoma City is hard to be when it comes to taco trucks and street tacos. In any case, the waitress was fantastically good at customer service. She went a step further to ensure that I enjoyed my meal, and I most certainly did. I like the atmosphere however there’s not any televisions that I can recall. They do serve Mexican Coke. And they have a large variety of food.

I love the Cali burrito, steak or carnitas street tacos, really, I like the entire menu and it’s always good food, i just preffer the burriot. a large amount of food and very wallet friendly. Clean, great staff and fast service.
