Tastes like a traditional Mexican taco made with corn—it’s simple but authentic. The price is great, and considering that, the flavor is actually impressive. I can see why it has such high ratings. That said, it’s not mind-blowing, so don’t expect too much. Ordering is quick and easy, but the prep time is really long. I’d recommend calling ahead and picking it up if you’re in a hurry.
I took a photo of the updated phone number for orders—just in case you need it!

Taco Maggi Food Truck — A Hidden Gem!
If you’re anywhere near this truck, do yourself a favor and stop by. I tried the Trepas Taco and Asada Taco, and wow — both were absolutely incredible.
The Trepas Taco was crispy and full of flavor. The seasoning was on point, and the fresh cilantro, onions, and salsa brought everything together perfectly. The tortilla had that nice chewy texture and a toasty corn flavor that made every bite perfect.
The Asada Taco was just as good — smoky, savory, and perfectly grilled. You can taste that char from the grill in the best way possible. Add a little lime, cilantro, and onion, and it’s taco heaven.
The ingredients were fresh, the portions were great, and the staff was super friendly. Prices are totally fair for the quality you get.
Definitely one of the best taco trucks around — highly recommend the Trepas and Asada tacos!

A must-go place around Buena park. I always eat tripa taco here. They are the best tripa taco, anywhere!

Tacos Maggie is a food truck at the end of Commenwealth Ave by the 5 Fwy across from the laundry mat. It is always there, always has customers and is open late. The food is good. The prices are not cheap but not extreme. So be prepared to spend 20 bucks a person to eat, but like I said they are always there and always have customers… So it can’t be bad Mexican food. They are quick and efficient.

New ownership.. step it up. Maggies used to be one of my top taco spots, especially for tripa. I went back after a while and I was shocked. I ordered in person and it took 15 minutes and the tacos came out cold. Flavor was nonexistent. They just don’t care at all. Pure evil. I will not come back.

I was in bueana patk and was hungry and googled tacos and this place was 3 min away. The food was good, the lady at the pick up window was friendly but it took forever to get my food i would say about 25 to 30min which was bad for me because my children were in the car. I recomend you order over the phone and pick up since i saw a couple of people doing that and their order was ready when they arrived. Tacos are $2.50 to $3 depending on the meat! Also there was plenty of parking which was pretty cool!

They served some of the best molitas I’ve ever had. I ordered the cabeza taco. Unfortunately, I have to give them 3 stars because the server took my order down incorrectly and refused to correct it when we addressed him. Ultimately, the food is reasonably priced so I only paid maybe $5 for the additional Molita, but I was pretty unhappy about how the guy responded to us notifying that they made a mistake on our order.

EXTREMELY LONG WAIT. We came here on a Sunday night around 6:30pm and the wait for 6 tacos was 50minutes long. The food was good but not so exceptional that I’d wait 50 minutes for lol. So call in for phone order if you can.
There’s also no toppings and salsas outside for you to add yourself. Everything is packed inside the truck by the staff. Definitely ask for extra onion and cilantro because the amount they initially add is horrendously little. And because the tacos are packed in foil instead of being handed on a plate, they’re soft and look squished.
I definitely will not be back. There’s a ton of taco trucks in the area and this place doesn’t deserve such a high rating imo.
