I was looking for a quick place to grab some tacos for takeout since I needed to get to the other side of town. After some consideration, I decided to give Taco Los Toritos a try. The restaurant was practically empty, which was perfect for me because I didn’t have much time to wait. I ordered two tacos al pastor and a medium horchata for under $10, which is phenomenal. The service was prompt, and the cook prepared the food quickly—within five minutes, I was on my way.
The food was well-wrapped and tasted great. The horchata was fresh and just right.
Parking can be a little tricky since it’s a small strip for parking, but I didn’t have any issues yesterday. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy some tasty food.

This place should have way more stars. I’ve found it very difficult to find some quality Mexican food out here in Santa Clarita. I’ve seen this place for a while but given the location (given traffic and one way signs make it hard to get to) I have usually just gone to the valley for my cravings. I judge heavily on salsa and this place has some good hot spicy salsa (red) that tastes good. Staff were friendly and courteous. The place was clean and had an overall great atmosphere. Recommend to anyone out here who wants an authentic Mexican meal.

A must-try in Canyon Country if craving Mexican food. Tasty, high-quality and yummy! Always happy tummy. My fave is #5 & jugos de fruitas esp pineapple. Steak quesadilla is satisfying, nachos is loaded! My friends from the Valley are convinced that this is one of the best places to get Mexican food. Really good value for your money.

Who doesn’t love tacos? This is probably my go to place for tacos. They have all the “unusual” cuts of meat (cabeza, lengua, etc.). There is a male chef and a female chef. IMO the female chef cooks the food better. The tortillas and the meat just come out more crispier. And their horchata is delicious.

We decided to give this place a try since its literally down the street from where we live. We ordered tacos de asada & al pastor, Asada nachos and a torta ahogada de Asada. We got home and realized our order was wrong. The torta was pork, DROWNED so bad that the bread was so soggy it looked like crap! The Asada was pretty plain but the pastor was okay…. I ordered them without onion and two were plain and the other two were covered in onion. The nachos looked pretty damn good but the chips were stale and the cheese wasn’t even melted. There was only one cook and its hard to believe he made all our food. The lady at the cashier was nice. All in all, we wouldn’t go back.

We have some hits and some misses here. The Chile Relleno was pretty good, and the carne asada street taco was fair, while my husband was in love with the carnitas torta. Where our disappointment comes in, is with the staples. Let’s start with the rice, it had a really ‘off’ taste and it was dry. The beans were just okay. The guacamole was more like an avocado salsa than guac. With all the competition out there, I am not confident this Mexican restaurant meets our expectations.

Food is very greasy. It used to be good but has fallen. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere for what they charge. So disappointed!

Firt time here just moved into town and looking for new food to try. Ordered the huevos rancheros. Too much tomato and usually the eggs would be laying on a tostada tortilla. With salsa on top accompanied with rice and beans.
The salsa was nice with a good kick. Except for the excessive tomato chunks. The beans needed a bit more salt. Rice was on point. Other than that it’s small and well you don’t feel to welcomed you get served fairly quickly. Seen they make the Aguas frescas from scratch..that’s the best.
I wouldn’t make it my go to but something simple what more can I expect out here in Santa clarita.

Food was ok but expensive $20.?? something for a taco and torta combo with a large drink. Drink was real good though better than the food. Dry taco for sure and it was pastor. Torta was good bread a bit over toasted better than 2 years ago when it was burnt. And that tortilla that they made into a tostada with a piece missing from it with some pico on it or rather 2 little pieces of tomato on it was a nice surprise. Bean too much cheese, rice crispy and dry. Cashier not friendly at all and seemed like she was unhappy to be there like forced to work there for her family instead of asking if she could help me she stood there cutting limes for a minute or 2. I’ll probably ONLY go back for the agua frescas.

Good value as they give you lots of meat for the money, but the flavor is lacking. The al pastor is the best of all the meats I tried so I would stick that route. The hot sauces to me are average and not very spicy. No serrano’s or jalapenos except pickle with carrots. You will be full, but not completely satisfied. 7$ burritos, 2$ tacos.
