To all my fellow lengua tacos lovers…this place has good lengua tacos! The kind that isn’t super fatty, but the lean meaty cubed kind…. ❤️❤️ I was in the area and thought that there would be a good Mexican taco truck nearby, and I love it so much.

A surprising find at the Citgo gas station on Branch Forbes, we took a chance on it for lunch, and they were tasty! No soggy tacos here, and the consommé was flavorful, as was the salsa verde. They served crispy crinkle fries along with them, and although interesting, nothing to complain about!

The place and vibe is wonderful. I actually loved it for a while till I kept ordering and getting things that did not look or taste like they should. One time was menudo it was watered down and green. Second time was supposed to be Ramen birria and the noodles were so over cooked they were mush. The birria had no flavor or even color. Again watered down. The meat wasn’t even shredded, just a big chunk of meat.

For the best tacos I’ve ever had, Tacos Los Mexicanas Catrachas is the place! I had their birria tacos, and they were nothing but spectacular. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, infused with just the right amount of interior spices, making each bite a delight.
The tacos were made with freshly prepared warm and sturdy tortillas to hold all the tasty fillings. What really took them to the next level was how they were served with a side of consommé. And that’s a whole other story, as it’s a taco’s best duet partner. Consommé is to tacos what gravy is to biscuits or a good marinara sauce is to a deep-fried calzone.
The vibrant and welcoming vibes made it a terrific spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was professional, attentive, and downright friendly, which really helped set the tone for a top-notch experience.

Stopped for gas here, saw the truck figured I try a taco. Very well done, lengua was nicely cooked with good seasoning. Got the red salsa, a little spicy but gave the extra that extra kick. Nice chuncky grilled onions and fresh onions and cilantro with a sloce of lime. Also got an agua Fresca de Orchata, also good and sweet but I wouldn’t say it was homemade. Still very good. Kind of hidden and it doesn’t show on the map unless you zoom in into the gas station and dinosaur world pin. Good spot for after or before dinosaur world!

$9 for 3 Chorizo tacos. What an excellent choice this was. The lady running the truck was super friendly and happy to serve me. My food came out fast. The Chorizo was so fresh and juicy. My mouth is still watering. There salsa Rojo is also very well made with a perfect kick to it. 10/10 coming back soon!

Not good at all. Waited 20+ minutes for our order. I ordered pollo tacos and it had carrots in it? Very weird. Soggy tortillas and fall apart. Ate them in the parking lot, so it was not due to freshness either. The esquite was mostly mayonnaise, disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money.
