Food was bland and not seasoned. The tacos were dry and tough, rice was okay and mid but the beans trash the cheese has hard and nasty . Never again not authentic at all

I have come before and had enjoyed the food. This time I came with my family, and my mom’s food was half cold. Then my dad was eating his food, and a hair came out of it. The lady said it wasn’t them because their hair wasn’t dyed, insinuating that we had put the hair there. Mind you, we’ve eaten here before and enjoyed the food, so why would we do that? This was an upsetting experience for us.

Food fare from the Oaxaca province of Mexico. The Tlayudas Oaxaquenos were huge and hearty. I tried the nopales and will be back to try more! Nice big restaurant on Historic Mitchell St. Sat too close to the TV, though, and it was difficult to hear our conversations.

This is authentic Mexican food from the Oaxaca area. The server even spoke the indigenous language from Oaxaca. The food was incredible and unique it had a sauce made out of Hot pepper, guacamole, And lime juice, which was unique and very tasty. They make their tortillas from scratch for their sopes, Real corn flavor. The ingredients were very fresh even the lettuce, (which is rare for mini Mexican restaurants) The service was excellent the people extremely friendly knowledgeable, and ready to help you get exactly what you want. I had to chicken Sope for only eight dollars, and it Nearly filled me up as you can see in the pictures it’s quite large. I would have given it five stars except for. Interior decoration is rather basic, although it is clean and orderly.

The place look a little run down, but the food is outstanding. We tried tacos, and they were exactly the same taste as in Mexico City: Delicious!

Stopped in because we were cold and hungry and Lopez Bakery had closed. This is an excellent, authentic Mexican restaurant! It’s clean. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Service warm, friendly and efficient. Great chips with 2 salsas. Unique and delicious! We had tacos. The chicken was sooo moist and flavorful. A great find!

They said they had no tap water so they sold us 3 bottles of water, the clayuda was very bad made, they had no desserts no flan or choco flan, bad service, the guacamole was very liquidy, the server wasn’t very nice either probably in a bad mood. I did however like the torta. Tacos were okay, kinda dry.

**There is alot of 1 star reviews that make no sense clearly a planned out “prank” with malicious intent. I’m Mexican this is the closet you will get to authentic Mexican food in Milwaukee. I have been a customer for over 2 years never ever had one problem. They keep their facility clean, and the service is amazing Don’t let the 1 star fake reviews discourage you from visiting Los gemelos!
