Came to this place on a whim and it did not disappoint at all. We came in for birria tacos and they were absolutely delicious, according to my homie. I am vegetarian 75% of the time, so I had a veggie burrito that super tasty. Added some salsa and guac that really took it to the next level. The staff was extremely helpful, gave us so much focus and time, really made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere was very comfortable , large tables and chairs that made you feel like a Queen/King. Please take some time to visit this place when you are in any mood and I guarantee you will enjoy it.

This place is amazing. I’ve been eating here for over a year now and the food has never disappointed me. This is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area for anyone looking for recommendation. Try the shrimp nachos, chicken burrito, even the fish tacos!!

After seeing a picture like this of your undeniable failure to nail something as simple as churros, it is truly outrageous and absurd, bordering on idiotic, to suggest to a customer that she should have driven all the way back to your restaurant for more sugar, of all things, when she already wasted enough time driving to an establishment that couldn’t even get CHURROS right. I really wasn’t asking for much. After a 3 star review for these sugarless churros, the least you could have done was apologize, if not suggest a way to rectify the situation. I never would have thought that you would come back with ‘well, why didn’t you just come back and ask for more sugar?’ lol what a joke.
Since you clearly don’t know how churros are supposed to be served, I’ve added some pictures to help you out.

Food was ridiculous ! ! We sampled all of the homemade drinks – fabulous ! ! Horchata is my favorite.. for meal, I got the alambre.. partner got the beef tongue tacos.. both were crazy good.. I need to go back and check out all of their other menu options ! ! Small place though as it only has 4 tables of 4 there – that’s why I gave it a 4 atmosphere..

Fast, friendly service. I ordered steak tacos and they were quite good. Soft flour tortillas. I got a side of rice with it which was also flavorful. Of course I washed it down with a grape fanta.

I am just as stuffed as my pork burrito! The burrito was as big has my forearm. Easy in easy out. Tacos Locos has some yummy food. Street and metered parking. Open from 11a-9:30 every night. They even had Mexican Coca Cola. I bought one to go.

The other day I got, Tacos Loco, in West Orange for lunch. I ordered their Chicken Burrito Bowl and man was it delicious. Everything tasted really fresh and the chicken had great flavor. The rice had great texture with nice flavor as well too, and was complimented greatly with the black beans. My favorite part was the guacamole! It was terrific. I would absolutely be trying this place again, and would highly recommend, Tacos Locos, to anyone in the West Orange/Orange area looking for some great tasting Mexican food!

It’s been a while since I’ve been extremely satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere of a restaurant. A triple threat. Still new to the area and love to find foodie spots that are consistent, have good food and service. Oh and close to home. This place is truly a gem. As of today, within the course of one week, I’ve already been there 3 times!! LOL..and might go today if I get a craving. I’ve been looking for a latin restaurant and found authentic Mexican food instead which I absolutely love. It’s soul food to me. The first time we ordered a burrito bowl, chicken breast en mole poblano and 2 tres leches (my favorite dessert!). Second time was an enchilada en mole. Third time was 2 enchiladas (one mole Verde and one mole poblano), side salad and 2 tres leches.
I don’t know where to start, but the mole poblano is fantastic. It’s a rich sauce with lots of amazing flavors. The chicken breast was tender and not dry, the enchiladas were savory and satisfying. The yellow rice was delicious and lightly flavored. Even the salad was great. The vinaigrette dressing was everything right. Tasted like a melon dressing. No clue, but gimme more!! Lol The tres leches cake was more dense than I’m used to, but it soaked up the leches so well. Mouthwatering!
Customer service is always fantastic. They are patient and very friendly. Service is quick. Oh and the place is always spot clean, right down to the prepping table.
Way to go management! Two thumbs up.
