Hi my first time eating here as a visitor Alize was wonderful so nice to us ,Tacos are amazing on point especially carne en su Hugo ,in Bakersfield California on Union ,My oldest had the enchiladas dinner verde ,Green had the pastor,my hunny had the asada tacos on point come and try them if you’re ever visiting or if you live here and haven’t.

Been going to this la villa for years today I got a chicken burrito and it tasted as if they boiled the chicken tasted so gross, the carne asada burrito was thinly sliced like ground beef almost and tasted nothing like asada worst experience ever here the customer service was good but not like she cooks the food just takes the orders.

I was only in town for a half day, just long enough to get the Woodpecker rig pumping oil again, because I can’t do the good things in life without walking around money. Not knowing which Mexican restaurant is the best I asked the gringo at the gas station and he told me the taco bell! All I could do is shake my head in disbelief. The guy getting fuel next to me was a little better at giving directions and he told me to go to Tacos La Villa Mexican Grill because they’re the best in Bakersfield.
He was right, the tacos were amazing!

We were in Bakersfield for a concert n of course we were hungry. The closest spot was tacos la villa so we ran over to give it a try. The breakfast burrito was really good, great flavor, just as requested, as well as the carnitas quesadilla. The rice and beans were nothing short of delicious and home made. Definitely worth a stop next time around.

I ordered some la villa fries with birria for my choice of meat. It was in huge chunks with no consome so it was pretty dry. I still tried it and it didn’t taste good. I’ve had birria fries before from the white lane location and they were perfect but maybe the quality wasn’t so great because I had it delivered from postmates. Either way I’m disappointed.

Staff was friendly and service was great!
We stopped by for breakfast which was huevos rancheros and a plate of el pastor.
The beans were a little runny but delicious . The carne picada on my huevos rancheros was a little salty but nothing a good green salsa couldn’t fix .
The el pastor plate was a bit too sweet for my taste but it was still good nonetheless. Everyone makes their el pastor different
