Walking in I could see dirty tables and some others with clients still in there. I figured it was a huge rush or people were slobs.
First thing I noticed was their very reasonable prices. The lady out front was courteous and food came fairly quick. I had buche and tongue tacos. For the price the portion of meat was fair. The texture however was undercooked. Way undercooked in my opinion since it was tough. When all the people left the place was empty and staff began taking lunch but none cleaned the tables.
If it were not for how cheap it was it would get 1 star. This one shamed the original Juanita’s. They need to step up their game.

We did a pickup order and I waited for one employee to check me out whole the other 2 just stood there watching him work. He was doing it all himself. Service could improve.

I believe this place has alot of potential to fill it up. They need to play some music and fix the temperature inside. The price is excellent. Parking is easy. The food is good a lo mejor le falta un poco de sal.

I’m still giving five stars because it’s authentic and delicious, but I will say that the Pierce location in Sioux City issuperior to this one. I’d probably say the Storm Lake location is also better but regardless, all la Juanita’s food is fantastic! The service is incredibly fast, the meat is piping hot, and the staff is friendly. I tend to go for the steak tacos with onions and cilantro – can’t go wrong!

We were delighted to stumble upon La Juanita for breakfast in Le Mars. Although the ambiance was unremarkable, the Mexican food certainly was…Huevos Estrelladas with a delicious homemade spicy red sauce, beans and rice, and homemade pickled carrots on the side with avocado. Yum!

Just driving out of the parking lot and me and my friend are RAVING about our experience. We were greeted with a friendly smile that attended to all of our needs. The staff was helpful and efficient! I’ve always gotten tacos here but tonight I got a taco and a tostada, both of which were delicious and were ready so quickly!
