I visited with my family and ordered nachos and burritos, and unfortunately the prices felt far too high for what was actually served. The atmosphere and overall dining experience do not reflect a premium or fine-dining establishment, yet the cost of the dishes suggests otherwise. In my view, burritos in this setting should reasonably fall in the $9–$12 range, not $15–$20 per plate.
I believe lowering prices would better align with the experience offered and make the restaurant more accessible to the local community. At its current pricing, the value simply doesn’t match expectations.

This is place has some of the best tacos in the area, they are in Downtown very nice place , the pastor Tacos are some of the best and the tortillas are delicious they taste home made , everything else is pretty good too! The service is great and the prices are are pretty decent.

I went to pick up my Too Good To Go order at night as the pick up window is after 10 PM, which can be a sketchy time to be out anywhere, especially in downtown Oxnard across from Plaza Park.
I explained to the girl at the pick up window that I was there to pick up my order from Too Good To Go. The girl at the pick up window was not very pleasant and appeared to be oblivious about my order. She said they stopped doing Uber eats, but I had to reiterate multiple times I was NOT there for Uber eats. I explained what the Too Good To Go app was, but she did not appear to know what this app was. She said, “No trabajamos esa aplicación.”
The kitchen looked like they had already cleaned up and had the trash bags ready to go out as it was the end of the day. Nonetheless, I was turned away. I returned home disappointed and empty-handed.
I asked for my refund from the app right away!
Today I see there are two more surprise orders available on the app again. Please beware of ordering on this app from this La Bonita location, it is a waste of time and gasoline. I could not leave a review about this on the app as I did not actually pick up anything.

Very bad service I ordered from this place and the lady called Jessica was rude and not professional at all we ordered though the phone and she was rude and i asked her how much the total is going to be and she said “ we can’t tell you the price of your order” and i say i just wanted to know the price of my order and she said your order will be ready in 15mins and she just hung up on me rudely and i went to the food truck by saviers st and laurel st to pick up my order and they said that my order was not approved. Then i called on the same phone i ordered and they blocked my phone number so i had to call on another phone and i asked why my order was not approved and she didn’t even answer my question she just went off on me saying that people don’t understand that we can’t discuss prices of food on the phone and i understand that but she was very rude i WAS a regular customer but not no more and the lady that said all that was the manager Jessica. That reflects a lot from her how she talks to her customers and who knows how she is in her business. Very bad service!!!!!!

Worst food I have ever tried the meat was so nasty and inside burrito was so watery you can’t really see in the photo but its super watery trust me don’t eat here you will just end up throwing all your food way and waste money !

Got 4 quesabirria tacos, birria ramen and 2 drinks for $45.79. I love the whole atmosphere!! It’s really cute . Very tomato soup for the birra ramen I got. Had no spice womp womp. The tacos were really good and crispy :))

I ordered 3 tripas tacos . Soft and what I got was burned tripas not crunchy. Extra hard not chewable got a call back from a woman. Saying take my tacos out of the trash and bring them back….p

Sooooo Goood!!
I came here after donating blood around the corner on a recommendation from one of the Red Cross volunteers, THANKS JOE! The menu looked amazing and the food was even better! I even brought my little man, Mr. Poppy along for lunch, and the staff brought him his very own steak taco! THANKS LADIES!
I had the combination with Carnitas and it all tasted as if if was homemade from grandma’s kitchen. The carnitas were flavorful and smelled of citrus and spice. AND no huge hunks of fat, all tender, so yummy. The beans were definitely made from scratch and the rice was just right. And the handmade corn tortillas….hot and fresh…amazing!
I’ll be back with Mr. Poppy and we’ll bring more friends, very soon!!
