We were pleasantly surprised from the start. They served us complimentary oatmeal, which I personally really enjoyed. My husband thought it was a bit too sweet, but for me it brought back childhood memories of my grandma making it the same way .
The coffee was good, though on the strong side. I ordered the torta de chorizo con huevo, which came with fries. The torta was very good, what I appreciated most was that the bread wasn’t smeared with butter, so it wasn’t greasy at all. That was a big plus for me. They do offer frijoles, but I chose not to add them.
My husband got the chilaquiles and really enjoyed them. He said they were spicy, but a good spicy .
We also tried a chicharrón taco. It wasn’t your typical chicharrón, it tasted more like a discada-style meat mix. It was still good, but probably not something we’d order again.
The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The only odd thing was the music, it had more of a techno club vibe, which felt a little strange for a Mexican restaurant in the morning.
Overall, great food, friendly service, and a solid spot we’d definitely come back

Amazingly delicious food!! They have it all! From Mexican to American to Sushi!! The service was absolutely amazing. Our Waiter was Roberto!! And he had excellent customer service and recommended my husband the enchiladas and reassured us if he didn’t like it that they could change it. But it was absolutely delicious. I plan on coming here more and more often!! The ambiance was nice and calm.

Best Pastor and Quesabirria ive had in a solid minute. For a little place that doesnt overcharge they give you PLENTY food and the vibe is great. The service is amazing. Seriously though, try the quesabirria tacos with that consome. Its a flavor bomb.
Their a la carte tacos are also flavorful and filling. You aint leaving half full.

This is a two visit review of the North location, which I did to try other options. The first visit I went with my son. Once seated the salsas and chips arrive, we absolutely like this assortment of fresh made salsa varieties. Plus, there is one ramekin of refried beans to dip the chips in. The chips are always fresh which just adds to the delicious experience. We ordered our beverages and the choriqueso for $10.99. This is basically melted white cheese topped with chorizo served with flour or corn tortillas. The fun is definitely in the cheese pull and getting it into the tortilla. Needless to say my son and I are quite apt. I ordered a small seafood cocktail for $8.99 that was made with diced shrimp and octopus served in a slightly sweet, zesty tomato sauce. My son ordered the sincronizada, $14.99 which is a very large tortilla folded in half and filled with beef carnitas and cheese, additional accompaniments, guac, ( I have seen fresher) and sour cream are served on the side. My son really liked his oversized taco and I enjoyed mine as well. On my second visit I went with my wife. We skipped the appetizers, salsas arrived, fresh as always. My wife ordered a Coke from Mexico, I ordered tea as usual. For our entrees My wife ordered the Tacos Matamoros 14.99, corn tortillas covered in grilled fajita, Mexican cheese, and avocado. This plate is served with chunky mashed potatoes with American cheese mixed in and a side of beans. I ordered the fried Shrimp plate $ 17.99 it comes with salad, rice, and fries. I asked my server if I could switch out the rice for beans. I really did not want the rice, but somehow it still ended up on my plate. Plus, I had to wait for my beans , the ones that should be sitting where the rice was. I used a side plate to remove the rice before it got everywhere, so far this experience was not so good. Next, I noticed the shrimp were little shrimp (like 25 cnt) were butterflied and pressed to make them look bigger, that they were easily overcooked and curled up, they were also tough and chewy. The salad was water logged (stored in water) and not fresh. I tried my wife’s potatoes. I have had the mashed potatoes before and really liked them. These potatoes were cold and had a refrigerator taste from improper storing. Lastly, our server never came back to check on us, probably for the better with all these complaints. In fact the lady who was at the door greeting and seating, came over and asked us if we wanted refills on our drinks because she noticed the empty glasses. My son and I talk Kissi Tacos up. I convinced my wife to try it for the first time and unfortunately it didn’t go well. I like the shrimp tacos, I’ve had them several times, I would go back ( South location)for that and a cocktail. I don’t think my wife will ever be convinced to go back.

Taco Kissi on Trenton in Edinburg is one of my favorite spots. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night, it’s always a reliable place to stop.
I visited with a group of nine this time, and the service was helpful and quick even with a large table. I ordered the sampler plate, which is perfect if you want a little bit of everything, and I also got the tacos Matamoros and a Mexican fresco. Everything was delicious and consistent, just like every other visit.
The complimentary chips and dips are one of my favorite parts. They are crunchy, fresh, and come with a variety of salsas, which always makes it fun to compare with friends and see which one everyone likes best.
This is a spot I recommend to anyone looking for good food, good portions, and a place that works for any meal of the day. There is a green juice they have for breakfast that I recommend. And there is a bar, too! Definitely worth visiting.

Went to get lunch and I was very impressed! The food was sooo good. I initially went in thinking it was more of a taco place (even though it says on the window they have more) but was surprised that they had really good sushi! Then the music that was playing was so chill and fun. Service was amazing with a great staff! I love that I found this gem so close to home. Will be visiting again!

Got a botana for two. Taste was good and plenty of sides to add to the tacos I couldn’t make from the botana meat.
The meat (carne asada) was cut super small and was stuck to all the cheese and chips.
Way too much cheese for my liking. My wife loves cheese so she was happy with it. However she isn’t a big fan of onions.
The onions were so plentiful that all I could taste was the onions.
The botana seemed more like ponchos or a large order of nachos rather than your traditional botana.
While waiting (take out order) I did see orders come out and everything looks delicious.
We do plan to return and do a family lunch/ dinner because the atmosphere seemed like the right kind for casual conversation.
