We arrived at 7:03 PM planning to dine inside but were told the dining room closed at 7:30, even though it wasn’t close to that time. There was still a person seated and eating inside, but according to them, we weren’t allowed because “some people eat slow.” The tacos weren’t great, and overall the experience was disappointing. I won’t be returning

Great tacos, great value. Every street taco we tried (pastor, asada, chorizo, carnitas) was great. Hot sauce had great flavor. I’ll do without the salsa and chips next time, though.

Went in on taco Tuesday to try the $1.25 tacos. They were out of carnitas but we tried the other ones that they had. The chorizo one had some rubbery cartilage bits in it that made the texture weird. Then the pastor ones had way too much fat and silver skin in them to really enjoy. The meat quality overall was about a 1-2 in quality but the flavor was really good. The chips and salsa were way over salted in some areas where salt would clump to some chips. And the salsa we got was the wrong one I think because it wasn’t a chunky red salsa like he told us. It was more of a green enchilada sauce that wasn’t that great with chips. The cantaloupe drink however was incredible and I would recommend getting again (definitely the highlight of the meal) service and staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice. Last comment… the salsa bottles were very greasy and dirty which would be nice if they did a better job cleaning them before sending them out to customers.

The service was very lack. We tried to order our pastor and “tripitas” tacos more cooked and they refused to do it. We ordered as well the “menudo” and it was salty. We didn’t hate it but it could have been a better experience. Most of all, the service we received from the guy who took our order, he was very rude, he didn’t attempt to try to be servicial at all.

I’m obsessed with this place, I eat here at least once time a week. Plenty of options for those with gluten or dairy dietary restrictions. They run a tight ship and are friendly like any other neighborhood food spot. Food preparation is generally incredibly quick, but like anywhere else, sometimes patience is key. Don’t expect a wait staff, and it’s easy to have conversations even if all of the tables are full. Highly recommend preordering tamales in bulk for family gatherings.

Ordered a platter on 50 tacos for 145.00 for the amount of tacos and size of beans and rice the side items didn’t match. They only give you 4 small salsas and a small amount of onions and cilantro for all 50 tacos and rice and beans and a small brown bag of chips. When we asked for more salsa we were told they would cost 10 more dollars for 4 more SMALL salsas. See photos for size reference.

When I walked in, I was just looking at the menu and the guy asked me are you paying cash or card and I said card I’m not even finished the menu and he was already telling me come on this side so I can charge you I said, charge me for what I haven’t even finished looking at the menu And then he points at the menu and says everything’s up here. I told him hey man, I don’t need to be rushed. You’re just standing there looking at your phone. I get it. You’re bored there’s no one here. He mumbled something and I just kept looking at at the menu when he came by I said I’m not trying to be rude, but I don’t need anybody rushing me to make an order, I made an order of a Sope and a quesadilla, not gonna lie and to be real honest the quesadilla was filled with oil and it’s supposed to be for a kid. The soap was OK. I bought me a drink and I said hey I’m gonna go get me another drink when I get to the cashier, the guy is there and I asked him can I get a 7-Up? He said OK he asked me. Are you gonna pay cash or card? I said card right when he said card, he said oh I can’t just sell you a can you have to buy something more than five dollars that is the worst policy I’ve ever heard I can’t just buy a can of 7-Up because it has to be more than five Dollars. No never again I’m sorry but that’s the worst policy. This taco place has. I won’t be coming back service was awful. The boy wants to be in his phone whatever he wants to do go ahead. Someone really needs to train him how to be and how to have customer service..

Tacos Huichos is my go to for tacos. Just really solid, straight forward Mexican food. This ain’t your Texmex type spot, its the real deal. Some of the best Al Pastor I’ve ever had.
