Birria Tacos taste like they’re microwaved. Consume is too watered down. Couldn’t even pick them up out the box they split in half. French fries aren’t even crispy or seasoned. Spent 70 dollars on food for my wife, myself and child. Waste of money, will never go back. Do not recommend.

First time trying this place and I am seriously blown away! This is hands down some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Every single bite was packed with flavor — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with real passion and tradition. You can taste the authenticity immediately.
The food came out hot, the portions were amazing, and everything tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen, not a chain restaurant. If you’re looking for REAL Mexican food, this is the spot. I already can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

Service was great and fast! We ordered a family meal and it had a variety of different kinds of tacos and sauces. The whole family enjoyed this meal, safe to say we will be returning!!

From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and very attentive. For the food, every single bite was packed with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh, the seasoning was on point, and the textures were perfect! Honestly, it’s one of the best authentic taco spots I’ve been to in the area, hands down. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tacos! Very expansive authentic menu. I will be back to try more of their selections every time I’m in the area. I got the chorizo, asada, and barria tacos. They came with three selections of house made hot sauces at different levels of heat. And to top it off, everyone was very nice. Don’t forget to grab that Mexican coke!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with a special takeout order from Tacos Hernandez. I placed an order for 12 tamales (6 green, 6 red) about a week in advance. Due to a small miscommunication, the order wasn’t confirmed for the exact date I needed. When I arrived and realized what had happened, the women working there were incredibly polite, professional, and apologetic. They immediately took ownership of the situation and began preparing my order right away.
What really stood out was how accommodating and kind they were. They acknowledged the mix-up without excuses and genuinely did everything they could to fulfill my order. They even offered me food while I waited—an incredibly thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated, even though I couldn’t eat since I was on my way to dinner.
The wait was 100% worth it. I was in a rush and could have easily canceled, but I really wanted to try authentic Mexican tamales—and I’m so glad I didn’t. While I can’t personally speak to authenticity, my friend from Mexico tried them and confirmed they’re the real deal. The tamales were delicious, rich in flavor, and clearly made with care.
Great food paired with genuine hospitality goes a long way, and Tacos Hernandez delivered on both. I will definitely be returning to try more items from their menu. Highly recommend!

Okay folks.. I think many of us fall prey to the “corporate” Mexican fare restaurants where a couple gets enough chips and salsa to feed a family of 16 and refreshing beverages galore..
Then, a guy like me, based on another’s recommendation, finds an absolute jewel of a local, authentic Mexican fare eatery.. Tacos Hernandez is where it’s at everyone!!
I’m visiting from out of state for work and decided to sample this small, off the beaten path eatery to see what they’re about.. There are five tables inside, four two-tops and one four-top, for a total of twelve seats, so if they’re busy you might have to wait for a table..
They have a pretty straightforward menu and I always use street tacos as my guide for whether a place is good or not.. Tacos Hernandez is stupid good as far as I’m concerned!!
I sampled one pastor and one asada street taco with an ear of corn (eloté) on the side.. From the handmade corn tortillas, to the freshly grilled meats, to the cilantro and diced white onions, the tacos were most excellent, full of flavor, and exactly what I’d expect street tacos to be!!
The corn was quite good, too.. An amply sized ear, served hot, and with all of the goodness that Mexican corn brings with it..
They offer a selection of bottled soft drinks and other beverages to suit most palates, and they offer other beverages from behind the counter..
Señor Hernandez was as nice a fellow as one could expect and I truly enjoyed my visit.. Though I’m only in town for the remainder of the week, I’m already plotting to determine whether a repeat visit is in my immediate future..
Run, don’t walk, to Tacos Hernandez and see what you might be missing out on!!

Amazing customer service. My wife and I went yesterday and ordered the Birria-qty of 3, chicken burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. It all turned out amazing. Our kids loved it to. We even went back today, tried three different things. The chicken and rice bowl, Asada taco, Asada quesadilla, and the Al pastor burrito. Came out amazing once again. This place is beyond words, definitely a favorite spot of ours.
