Stopped by Tacos Flores in Humble and it did not disappoint. The tacos were packed with flavor and the grilled onions on top made them even better. The breakfast burrito was huge and loaded with eggs, potato’s, beans, bacon and cheese. Chips and queso were also a great starter. Also tried the street tacos with fajita that were the perfect amount and size. The restaurant itself is clean with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving tacos in the Humble area.

Stopped by Tacos Flores in Humble and decided to try the menudo. The broth had a nice color and decent flavor, but it was a bit saltier than I prefer. The tripe was tender in some bites, though a few pieces were a little chewy. The portion size was fair, and it came out hot, which I appreciated.

The tortillas on the side were fresh, and the lime and onions helped brighten it up. Service was friendly, but it took a little while to get our food during the lunch rush. The dining area was okay — nothing special, but comfortable enough for a quick meal.

Overall, the menudo was decent but not the best I’ve had. It satisfied the craving, just didn’t quite stand out.

First time visitors. We had a great experience. Food had great flavor and was hot when brought to us. (NOTE! This is not a full waiting service restaurant). As you walk in first order your food at the registers then seat your self.

My Experience at Taco Florist

I wanted to share an honest and constructive review of my recent visit, as this was a place that had been recommended to me several times as a great local breakfast spot.

I finally made time to stop by and arrived during what appeared to be a normal breakfast period. From the outside, the restaurant had good traffic and gave the impression of a popular, well-liked establishment. Upon entering, I noticed approximately three to four tables set, with a couple of guests finishing up their meals. There were two team members actively clearing tables, and DoorDash activity seemed to be a priority at the moment.

Where the experience became challenging was at the point of entry. There was no clear signage indicating whether guests should wait to be seated, seat themselves, or place their order at a counter. I stood near the entrance, scanning for direction and trying to make eye contact with staff to ensure I followed the correct process.

Unfortunately, during the entire 15 minutes I stood there, I was not greeted or acknowledged—not even a simple “we’ll be right with you” or “welcome in.” I eventually noticed a line marked “Pick Up Orders Here” and another area labeled “Order Here,” but no one was stationed there, and there was no guidance provided for first-time guests. Meanwhile, multiple DoorDash drivers entered and received attention promptly.

At that point, I realized that the experience felt geared more toward regulars or delivery orders, rather than welcoming new customers. I ultimately decided to leave without ordering and found breakfast elsewhere.

This review isn’t written with negativity or ill intent—rather, it’s shared as feedback. The food may very well be excellent, and the restaurant may thrive with its current customer base. However, for someone visiting for the first time, the lack of greeting, direction, and basic acknowledgment fell short of what I would expect, especially in Texas, where hospitality is often a point of pride.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as small changes—clear signage and a simple greeting—can make a big difference for new guests walking through the door.

Love this place for breakfast tacos, the barbacoa and tortillas are amazing. There’s a new shop outside “Raspado xperts” with freshly squeezed juice, my favorite the green juice. They offer alot of spicy Mexican drinks too!

The place looks nice and quaint inside. The sauce packets are small and I thought the breakfast tacos were just OK until I tried the bacon and egg taco. I like their flower tortillas too. They’re different in a way I can’t describe.

This is NOT authentic Mexican food, as it advertises on their building. Ordered and the food looks nice and was hot (as in just prepared) but it obviously was not cooked all the way through. The meat was very tough and rubbery, and the cheese in the quesadilla wasn’t melted at all. The sauce they provide is good, but overall it was very disappointing.

I’ve had this place quite a few times because it’s close to my work. Let me start off by saying, the food can vary based off of who is making it at the time. I’ve tried their pastor tacos. They are decent, although not super flavorful. The meat is also a bit dry. I’ve had their shrimp tacos and they were horrible. There were a few tiny pieces of shrimp, but mostly mouthfuls of cabbage and very bland. I will never order those again. I recently tried their chicken fajita tacos, which tasted absolutely disgusting. There were no fajitas in the tacos at all. There was lettuce and tomato only and the chicken was horrible. It was overcooked and flavorless, sord of reminded me of canned chicken. The tortillas were literally falling apart. I took a few bites and was done. I couldn’t even force myself to eat them and I’m not a picky eater at all. The thing I enjoy here the most are the street tacos. Those are flavorful and the meat in them is cooked well. I’ve noticed that some days, the onion will be chopped nice and thin and others you will get giant chunks. Overall I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for well cooked flavorful tacos. I will only eat here if my work gets lunch here, other than that, I am not a fan.
