This is a great place for lunch or dinner.
Fish tacos are solid. The Govenador taco is one of my favorites. Queso Birria are on point and the Cheese Quesaddilla is the best I’ve ever had. I know how that sounds but it is. Salsa roja is good as well.
Staff is friendly.
Vibe feels like a Mexican Taqueria with costal influence.
Overall, if you are in Duarte and are looking for some decent Mexican food, look no further.

My family’s go to for mariscos around Azusa Monrovia area. The seafood is always quality and fresh. Nice portions decent price. Clean and good service. Consistent and timely with my orders, dine in or to go. They have new items and the sushi rolls are huge. They are good also.

Order up front and then sit down restaurant no table service. In terms of the food we got fish tacos and a burrito. Fish taco is just average. I wouldn’t pay more for it than the taco Tuesday deal 2 for $3.50. Taco was well structured overall just a bland corn tortilla and a little over salted with salsa and mayo very average. The chicken burrito was on the other hand disgusting it’s boiled chicken in a burrito basically making the burrito soggy of chicken water and really tasteless never liked this style of Hispanic burrito and it was really bad avoid at all cost, also no matter how many times I made myself clear sadly my order was still very wrong. The restaurant itself is aged, needs a deep cleaning, it’s dirty, the furniture is aged and dirty there’s no way around it.

I love this spot. I come here mostly for the Tacos but their other food is really delicious. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday and The Fish Tacos are 2 for 3 something. They are classic with the fried battered Fish, Pico de Gallo, lettuce and cream Definitely worth it, they are Some of the best Fish Tacos around. On Thursdays, their other Tacos are on special as well. Everything is always fresh, prompt service and the line goes fast.

Wonderful place to get a quick meal at reasonable prices. Quaint family run restaurant with great food. I had the #1 Combo plate with a shrimp taco, fish taco with rice, frijoles and a soda. The tacos were deep fried Baja stlye with all the Toppings. Delicious! Quick service with condiments of Jalapeños, Pickled onions and Limes. Highly recommend this place. Lots of families ordered food for dinner while I was there. Definitely will dine here again!

Food here is generally pretty good. Service and cleanliness can definitely improve. Tables were sticky and condiment tray was a mess. Also ordered my burrito without rice (see receipt) and of course, they missed that. 3 stars for service and cleanliness.
Tried the fish tacos, a shrimp taco, a shrimp dorado taco, a spicy shrimp taco, Mar y Tierra burrito and a campechana cocktail. Too much food for two people, but wanted to try a few different dishes.
Tacos were all pretty good. 4/5 stars. Burrito was also good, but I didn’t get much asada. Really just full of rice. I don’t hate rice, but it’s a filler that doesn’t belong in a burrito in my opinion. I didn’t finish it in this sitting, so maybe will find it later 🙂 last but not least was the cocktail. Really good flavor and nice mix of seafood.

Good, but can be so much better. Food is decent, but service and organization can be better. First we tried calling in our order to go to make things easier for all, but was put on hold and then forgotten about. We were already on our way, so waited on the phone for about 7 mins while we drove there then decided to hang up when we arrived to order inside. They have good spacing for people in line to order at the cashier, but you have to walk past everyone in line to get out after you order. Kind of defeats the purpose. You also have to make sure to ask for salsa, limes, chiles or anything else. I was fortunate to ask for salsa and roasted chiles, but forgot the limes 🙁 I think I saw jalapeños and carrots as well, but will take note for the next time. Food wise, we ordered a shrimp taco combo and two fish tacos. Hit the spot but not sure it was good enough to warrant a trip back anytime soon. May try La Bufadora or Taco Nazo and see how they are doing these days and compare notes.

Here for the first time. The workers don’t understand English so it was hard to place my order. A second worker came to take my order and still got my order wrong. Wife wanted to try their jello for dessert…..unfortunately the lady couldnt understand us so we left. Fish tacos were ok. Don’t order the rice…..worst rice ever for a Mexican restaurant. Won’t be coming back here.

One of the best tacos ever! I stopped by recently when we were very hungry and there was none in the area. This one was open with the brightest lights which took us in. There was a line and wait but it was worth it. Prkce was reasonable too. I had 1 taco in downtown for $4. Here tacos go fro. 99 cents to $2.19 each.
