Phenomenal taqueria! We’re making a point of stopping at all the taquerias in othello, but I don’t think we’ll visit many more, as Torito2 is amazing. Camerones a la Diabla, lengua, pescado frita, and queso birria are perfect.
Everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned & prepared. You’re going to want to take the birria consommé home with you.
The restaurant is clean and the staff are welcoming. The prices are good.

Surprisingly spacious inside, with two main large rooms–one an order area with sit-down tables; the other, a space for family dining, which is pretty simply set up. It’s in a strip-mallish area on 1st that has seen better days, but there’s tons of parking. They have it nice and bright in there, and there is a quasi-open style kitchen, set up along where you counter order your meal. Don’t expect a ‘fiesta’ ambiance, like some families set their restos up to be. And let me tell ya, everyone in there was smiling and hustling. There weren’t a ton of folks in there while we were dining, but it was in-and-out with people picking up take out orders. They are doing very well with business. The food? Need you ask? I called in a and ordered 2 menudos. When I called, i had asked them to put the foot on the side. They stated it was going to be an up charge per order IF i ordered it as a “side”. I told them I did not want it because that would fill more of the cup up and have less of everything in it. (Which is why I wanted it on the side, which is how most restaurants serve them) they said okay don’t worry we won’t charge you extra and you won’t get the foot. They still ended up serving me LESS MEAT than when they add the foot to it. The lime that came with it was black and dry. They gave a pinch of onions and cilantro on the side as if that was suppose to be enough. Then we get charged differently than the $14 per bowl, as posted, but instead get charged almost $40 for 2 poor menudo bowls. I asked where the extra charges came from and they stated it’s cause I payed with debit card. They CHARGE EXTRA for paying with CARD! Then they stated that it wasn’t their fault even though I was under served for a 15 dollar bowl that should come with an adequate amount of meat. I WOULD NOT waste my time here and would be VERY careful as it seems that they clearly don’t care to give you what you paid for.

An unassuming pit stop but we left tummies full and smiles on our faces! The tortas are absolute bangers. The burritos are massive. The staff were friendly and service was great! We were there during the lunch rush and it was still speedy service. Would eat here again!

The food was awesome I ordered asada tacos my wife ordered sopes and loved them and the hot sauce is good and spicy. I would definitely recommend eating there. It is alittle noisy inside if your ok with that. The staff very friendly and the last time I was there accidentally left my wallet they found it and kept for me so nice when I went back they recognized me right away and I didn’t loose my wallet
