I love coming to this place. The Tacos are so original and the Guacamole salsa is out of this world. This is what real taqueros are all about. White Onion on tacos, The AL Pastor on Rotisserie with the Pineapple on top, limes radish and cucumbers on the side with multiple choices of agues Frescas. Yummy!
I went back to try something new and tried something so delicious. Their stew/Caldo de Res made with a special red spicey broth for this cold weather like I never tasted before. Made by Alberto & Micaela the cooks. I taste the love of Mexico City and Oaxaca. The servers Magali & Anayi are super friendly and attentive and Lalo the owner is just like his father super kind and welcoming. I love to go back because of their service, recipes, quality, and making me feel so welcome. Thank you Tio taco Lincoln Ave.

Had to try this place out on the recommendation from my cousin while I was in town. This is what I would call authentic Mexican food and it did not disappoint. The tacos were delicious and all the meats were moist and plentiful. Talk about value, the portion sizes were also huge! I see why the locals love this place.

Place is very clean and welcoming. Counter service was fast and super helpful. Ordered 2 drinks while out for a walk. Leche based. Sweet and tasty. Mango and Strawberry.

We arrived and ordered drinks, and only one meal was ordered. The waitress brought the meal but never brought the drinks. We had to ask two additional times for the drinks, even after the food had already been served. The water we requested also did not arrive until we asked again, and it was finally brought near the end of the meal.
The food was acceptable but underwhelming. The meat was quite fatty, and the beef soup was unexpected—it appeared to be made with chile rather than a traditional broth. There were very few non-meat options available, aside from a vegetarian taco and mushrooms.
The waitress later apologized and mentioned being short-staffed, which I understand. However, this should have been communicated at the beginning of the meal, and drinks should have been served before the food. Additionally, a tip was automatically included in the bill, which was not disclosed to us until checkout. While I empathize if she was having a difficult day, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given that the food itself did not make up for the service issues.

Fresh, authentic, delicious food. Friendly, attentive staff. My pastor burrito was juicy and delicious. We also tried their suadero and pastor tacos, huarache asada, elote, and horchata. Everything was amazing! Supporting local has never been so delicious 🙂

This is one of my favorite taco places and they are 24hours. I feel like I can order anything from their menu and it will be good. The staff is so kind and honest. One time I accidentally left my debit card. They found it and they took all the necessary security measures to get it back to me. Love them! One of my favorite drink is a Tamarind Juice that they make at the restaurant. It reminds me of the juice my late grandma used to make when I was little. Sometimes I add water to it, depending on how I want the sweetness and if I tell them no ice. Their Horchata is really good as well and so is their quesabarria

I’ve visited Tacos El Tio several times, always looking forward to a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my most recent takeout experience was disappointing. Not only did they forget a significant part of my order, but when I arrived 20 minutes later, they were unable to locate it and had to remake my meal, resulting in another 20-minute wait—definitely frustrating.
The food itself is just average and doesn’t compare to the exceptional Mexican cuisine I’ve had elsewhere. This experience has led me to decide that I won’t be returning.

This place looks new and fresh. I love the color they chose to paint it. The blue is light enough but very vibrant and goes well with all of the decor and mural that I’d painted on the wall in the dining area. My boyfriend loved steak torta and I thought the quesadillas should have been grilled more and the cheese melted but they were still filled and tasty. The guacamole was flavorful with maybe too many onions, but look at the pictures. The price of all we ordered was about $50 and that’s actually not bad considering we didn’t know the sizes of the foods we ordered and decided we could even order less or share stuff next time. Great place to go!

Price high for 2 people. Dinning. Better take them home. They don’t sell you just the chiles rellenos, they need to sell you the whole meal. I didn’t like that. Is like going to McDonald’s and buying just a Big Mac at $4 but instead you need to buy the whole meal al $10+!

Probably the best tacos in the area! Al Pastor Tacos are so good! The boss was nice with us even made sure everything was alright and the female waiter took care of us really good! Came with the family & we got the Tuesday Special: 5 Al Pastor Tacos for $12.99. Definitely worth it!
