WOW!!! Thank you to the ladies up front and the chefs in the kitchen who made taco night amazing. We’ve been waiting for the heat to go so we could try this place, drove 40 minutes and will do it again and again. The asada, al pastor, chorizo tacos are delicious and I should have probably started off with just 3 like our server recommended lol. The vampiros is huge and drips down your wrist with salsa and limon. Grilled chili, pina, cebolla, cucumber, aguacate, fresh salsa. Oh the Agua Fresca just cools that red spice. 10/10 definitely recommend.

The service was okay probably because was and hour before they close and she looks that she wasn’t in the mood. She took our order fine but she never smile or be kind. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and provides quick service. Don’t be fooled by the “no frills” atmosphere—this place is super clean and all about serving up delicious, genuine Mexican food.

Their tacos deserve 6 stars. This is as close to Tijuana as I can get. No one in Tucson makes tacos like this. Staff and food were superb. Thank you!

I tried the Tacos Al Pastor, and the meat was spot on—flavorful, well-seasoned, and had that authentic taste you’d expect. The marinade was just right, with a nice balance of smokiness and sweetness. However, the tortilla was a letdown. It didn’t seem handmade and had that store-bought corn tortilla texture that turns hard if you don’t eat it fast enough. A fresh, handmade tortilla would’ve taken these tacos to the next level.
Interestingly, they also removed the mulitas from the menu to replace it with the vampiro, which I suspect was a result of using the wrong tortillas. If they had handmade tortillas, it might have saved the mulitas. Overall, great meat, but the tortilla held it back from being amazing. Also couldn’t try the birria it wasn’t available

Food was absolutely delicious. Asada, and chorizo were great but the al pastor was phenomenal. Its a different take on a food truck. There was a hostess and server there when we arrived on a Sunday. Everyone was very friendly. Looked like 4 cooks in the actual truck. Customers were coming and going non stop while we were there.

They only had tacos al pastor, no other meet in the menu until after 5:30pm. Tacos were super salty. I had a service dog and they told me I couldn’t have her out of her stroller, when she is allowed into every restaurant not food trucks with no problem. Very disappointed ☹️ I would give zero stars.

Genuinely amazing tacos, chose this place at random and is now my favorite restaurant in all of tucson, even the locals love it! Get the tacos con queso and put on pineapple!! But EVERYTHING tastes great
