We came in just before closing. It didn’t matter the waitress greeted us with a smile. The inside of the restaurant is super clean and nice.
The tacos pf pastor lacked salt but overall flavor was good.
The homemade corn tortillas were amazing. I could eat a dozen of them.

Tacos El Rinconcito is serving top notch Mexican food! It’s in the shopping center close to Target and looks unassuming, just a small sign that says Tacos. The reviews don’t lie, excellent tacos and tortas. I’ve tried the Al Pastor, barbacoa, and pollo. Everything is great down to the rice and beans, I recommend the charro beans.

We’ve been on the hunt for some great tacos around the DFW area, and I’m happy to say that Tacos El Rinconcito is easily one of the best! My wife and I went in to sample a variety of their meats — cabeza, tripa, bisteak, barbacoa, and carnitas — and every single one was packed with flavor, juicy, and absolutely mouthwatering.
My personal favorite? The carnitas, hands down. They include a bit of the pig skin, which adds the perfect texture and richness — it’s next-level good!
On top of the incredible food, the people running this spot are some of the friendliest and most welcoming folks you’ll meet. You can really feel the love and pride they put into what they do.
⭐️ 10/10 — Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be bringing my out-of-town family here next time they visit.

We come here from time to time, and it NEVER disappoints. The carne asada fries are my absolute favorite—loaded with flavor and always satisfying. The torta is also another favorite – fresh and well made. Solid Mexican spot that we’re always happy to come back to.

Tried multiple food items here. Everything tasted amazing. This is authentic Mexican food. So glad this place is near our house. I recommend the tacos, gorditas, and huarache. They have taco Tuesday on certain meats.

While shopping in the plaza we noticed this place. I said to my husband, “I wonder if it’s a good Mexican place.” We’re from Chicago and since moving to Texas it has been a mission to find good Mexican food. Before we departed the area we noticed the owner washing down the front sidewalk with a bucket of water and bleach and we knew they were the real deal. If they take such care for their exterior, I know the food is excellent.
We’ve since made this our go to spot. We have ordered in person for dine in and for pick up. Both have the same amount of delicious food. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is incredible.

My family and I were on our way to Rosa’s for fresh tortillas when we saw Tacos El Rinconcito behind Cotton Patch (over in the shopping center by the Target in Watauga). We were immediately seated and brought chips and salsa along with our drink orders by a friendly server (Maggie was the name on our receipt!).
We ordered al pastor, steak, and chicken Gorditas which were so delicious! You can choose the meats for all three gorditas or just order all the same. I topped mine with the cilantro/onion salsa as well as the green salsa. We were offered a bowl of limes which made for the most perfect flavor. They tasted SO fresh and so delicious! I also loved the spice of the green salsa, which she brought to the table in a squeeze bottle.
Additional, we ordered the taco plate with al pastor. My children loved them! They advertised that tortillas are handmade and you can definitely taste the freshness.
We are so glad we decided to drop by for some fresh tacos and agua Fresca! Thank you so much!!

Place is clean with very friendly staff. Food was authentic and delicious. They have so many different sauces to choose from. My favorite was the warmed salsa they bring with the chips. The Al Pastor is a must try!!

This place is really really good! Hole in the wall and easy to miss in the plaza but glad I stopped in. The staff is super nice and attentive. The food hit close to home and is very well portioned and authentic. Tortillas are home made and taste of it all was super good. Aguas frescas were nice and refreshing and the service was pretty quick. Definitely worth a shot and worth supporting a local small business.

Came in to try this place today I have been hearing good things about. As soon as I came in I was greeted. The place is super clean and the waitress was so nice and very attentive. Started off with some complimentary chips and salsa and the warm salsa is a nice touch and so tasty! Be warned though, it might be a little spicy for some. I ordered three tacos and a gordita. All the different types of meat were well seasoned and authentic. I was amazed really at the effort put into every thing I tasted, from the tasty salsas to the homemade tortillas. And needless to say, the decor is fun and very modern compared to other taco spots I’ve visited. I would definitely recommend this place they have some really good options I must come back to try. Easy 5 stars on everything!
