Friendly cashier but not satisfied with the food. Americanized Mexican food; definitely not authentic. Refried beans from the can. Rice was decent needs a little more seasoning (bullion, or tomato sauce not cumin) salsas made for a non native palate (tastes too much like cumin). I ordered the burrito dinner-not much filling inside; most of it was a tortilla and a lot of lettuce leaves (not even chopped up) tiniest sprinkle of cheese and a bunch of tomatoes – the steak it was a breaded steak inside- the steak was whole and not cut up in pieces. Every time you bite you get a whole bunch and have to cut with fingers couldn’t bite through it. So dissatisfied

The experience was very pleasant. Our server was extremely polite and efficient. Our visit was worth every penny.
Fried ice cream, fantastic. The guacamole and chips, amazing, my burrito was delicious and extremely filling. We didn’t have any alcoholic beverages, but, they have the fixings for all kinds of drinks. A small place, but clean and inviting.
A great place for a quick bite or, just gnashing and talking.

We had a delightful lunch here at Tacos El Rey De Oro today. The complimentary light & crispy tortilla chips and well-balanced mild salsa were fantastic. We enjoyed our combination plate of nice carne asada taco with onions & cilantro, a terrific chicken enchilada with green ranchero sauce and a tasty chicken quesadilla (made with corn tortillas not flour) which came with very smooth refried beans, salad and perfectly cooked rice. There was only one staff serving six tables. She was very efficient. It’s a nicely decorated restaurant with a bar.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. I had 2 made to order, hot off the grill, steak tacos with onions, fresh cilantro, and wrapped in corn tortillas. I also grabbed a bag of chips and salsa. The chips were so light and crispy, but the fresh salsa was amazing! Just the right amount of flavor and spice! I make it a point to stop in whenever I am in the area for work. Why hit the drive thru at some fast food joint, when you can eat fresh and real food for the same price!

If I could give six stars I would. Great, authentic Mexican food. Staff was really polite. The guac was so good. They gave us free ice cream samples. The restaurant is linked to an ice cream store. Very cool concept. Will become regulars at this place.

I order with door dash some tacos and I requested no cilantro but I received them as u see in the pic with cilantro.i’m calling the restaurant and the lady says they can make the order again but I have to come at the restaurant and pick it up.if I could go to the restaurant to pick it up I would go in the first place,not paying a third party delivery service do it for me and pay all sorts of taxes fees and tips.i choose not to get the money back from the door dash because I don’t like getting money back from small businesses

Came in for lunch today and enjoyed beef tacos and beef nachos with cheese.The nachos were so fantastic!! This little restaurant is a hidden gem.The people working here were also very nice and the restaurant was clean.We can not wait to return!!

Great service and food. The food tasted authentic. Usually the horchata is hit-or-miss at restaurants, but here it’s a ballpark home run. They did change it up a bit, it’s now a creamery on one side of the restaurant, and the actual restaurant on the other side. Regardless, the food and service is still great like it was before.
