The carne asada and rice are so flavorful, I drive 35 mins just to get a burrito. The green salsa is more on the spicy side but you taste the actual flavor more than the spice if that makes sense. I spent $18 on the burrito ($14 for burrito, $2 for cheese, $2 for sour cream). Definitely recommend!! The pics I’m posting is of 3/4 of the burrito lol

Well, what can I say, I have been coming to this nice and cozy tacos, burritos, and menudo place for a few years… I did not know the name until today, Tacos El Ranchero.
Well, Tacos El Ranchero is my new Menudo dish favorite place.
They have traditional Menudo con Pata and Maíz with homemade corn tortillas. It’s delicioso, spanish for delicious.
They also sell tacos de tripa and other mexican delicious food… Well, let me show you the menu on the pictures.
And now I heard that they sell Coctel de Camarones as well.

Absolutely awful experience at Tocos. The place is filthy floors sticky, tables never wiped down, and the smell hits you before you even sit. The “meat” looks and tastes like it’s been sitting in those metal warmers for hours, maybe even days. Everything feels old and reheated.
To make things worse, the staff is rude and dismissive if you don’t speak Spanish, and good luck trying to get them to turn on the air conditioning it could be 90 degrees inside and they’ll just shrug. Between the heat, the bad attitude, and the questionable food, it’s easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great local taco and torta place. In a region inundated with Mexican food options, this place stands out. The three tacos and a soda for $5 is the best lunch deal around. The place is clean and comfortable, but clearly a quick eats place-not where you would take a date, for instance. The strength of the menu is the meats. The variety of choices is wide and the quality high. Other than the tacos, my fave on the menu is the very tasty torta Cubana. The meals don’t come with any side like rice and beans or chips. This seems weird at first but you realize you don’t need them. I do stay away from their burritos though as the added ingredients like rice is not their strong suit.

Nice little gem. Food was really tasty and had homemade flair. My father and I really enjoyed the menudo(him) and breakfast burrito with ham (me). The red salsa added that kick that makes you break a sweat and has your nose running. The staff were friendly and attentive to our first visit here and the small space made it as if you were eating at home. Will return to try other menu items.

I Tried this place when it first open….few years back. Not sure if same old man…but it was only good for the first couple of weeks, then i saw things i dind’t like so we stoped going, now that i’m tryi go find another good taco place, i’m looking at this post and don’t look any better…

It’s been almost 2 years I been going to this restaurant and only been disappointed once do to the beans having to much fat or lard in them.
I see they updated the menu board and added new food items. I will keep coming back until I find a better place in upland/Ontario on my way to work.
