Went here on a Sunday evening. Place wasn’t too busy and parking was easy to find.

Located at the old Panda Express, it’s great to see a place like this in this part of Visalia. I ordered 2 gringo tacos (hard shell taco). The ground beef was frozen, so they couldn’t cook it, so I got asada and birria de res. I also got a mulita de al pastor. The tacos were pretty small in size. It came with lettuce, shredded cheese, picó de gallo and the protein. Flavor is definitely there, but they skimp a little on the ingredients. The same goes for the military. The seasoning used for the al pastor is really good, but there wasn’t enough sour cream or guacamole to really capture the flavors.

Overall, flavors were really good. Whatever seasonings are used on the meat gives it a nice, savory complexity to it. They need to add a little more ingredients on the plates to even out the flavors. The bottled green salsa needs to be bottled and sold. A little spicy and creamy, I could eat a bucket of this all day. The owner was there. Really nice guy and very welcoming. Their family has this restaurant in Oregon and wanted to bring it here. I think if the portion size were a bit bigger this place would definitely pop off. Check them out!

Extremely disappointed! Over priced and small portions. Ordered two quesa birria tacos, Birria ramen and a shrimp burrito. The quesa birria tacos were the smallest $4.50 tacos ever. Plus they charge separately for the consomé. Birria ramen had no taste at all, ended up throwing it away. The shrimp burrito was all rice, I had to literally unwrap it to find 4 small shrimps. Only 1/3 was eaten. First and last time at this place. $36 down the drain.

Ordered in DoorDash, so I tried several things. None of it was that great. Sope was ok, but there were like 6 pieces of asada on it. I also got a chorizo and an al pastor street taco. Hardly any meat on either, but they were whatever. Tried an al pastor gringo taco and again not much meat. Asada and pastor were both dry. Tried the potato tacos dorado but they forgot the guacamole I paid $2 for, so they were dry also. I used DoorDash because it’s my first day off in over a week and I want to wear pajamas at home all day, so I’m not going down there or to the store to get guacamole. Overall, not a great first impression, but I’m glad I tried it so now I know it’s not that great.

I ordered one vampiro taco and three regular tacos (all small), along with one medium drink, and the total came out to $27, which felt very expensive for what we received. The restaurant was fairly empty, yet it still took about 20–30 minutes to get four tacos.

My girlfriend was especially disappointed with the food and the small portion sizes considering the price. The asada meat had a lot of fat, and while the al pastor was decent, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. We had higher expectations for a new restaurant, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

The birra taco combo comes with a very large console and were loaded with meat. The shrimp burrito was also very large. Food is prepared to order so there is a little wait.Overall, great food and staff were friendly.

People are a little hard on this place in the reviews. It is fairly priced, and the tacos were damn good. We are excited to return and continue to explore the menu.

Got here to check it out… the guy behind the counter looks up, turns around back towards me, and continues cleaning. No welcoming, no asking of questions, no communication to another worker, I can hear another in the back rooms, to let them know there’s somebody at the counter.
Waited approx 5 to 10 minutes.
Still, no service. Stood there like decoration.

Cool looking atmosphere on the inside…
But lacked customer service.

Every other place that has a grand opening, usually has great customer service and wants to attract and keep customers… the way this operated as my first impression i interpreted as being ignored and non existent.

Hopefully this will change so that the next customer will get served appropriately and give y’all the business you need.

Bringing in variety to the shopping centers. I ordered 4 queso birrias and 4 tacos de Asada. The queso birrias are fire. The asada tacos are average. The Jamaica is a little too sweet but you can just water it down.
