My wife and I are so happy to have a delicious taco place so close by!
We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find the best tacos in town… Tacos el paraiso is a must.
The tortillas were warmed with a perfect toast to them.
The carne asada was tender and juicy.
The red and green salsas had rich flavor and perfectly complimented the tacos.
If you live here and haven’t stopped by, you’re missing out!
If you’re passing through, its just off the freeway… its worth it!

DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER ! Food real bomb , I haven’t aten food like this in a while. I’m from Miami and it’s real hard to get some authentic food around however , this is the spot that really blew my mind away . Meat aren’t dry ESPECIALLY the pork . Lot of flavor . 100% RECOMMEND . Don’t let the structure of the building fool you !!!! :)))

I can only give Tacos El Paraíso five stars, but they deserve ten. I’ve eaten delicious local food in Mexico and this is no different—but very different from what we often get in the USA! We ordered the Chilaquiles con Carnitas and Pollo Asado Plate. The chilaquiles were delicious but hot! In the best and most authentic way. It makes you want to eat more and burn more. Couldn’t get enough but definitely had to pace ourselves. The pollo asado was the opposite, a nice and flavorful plate that was so enjoyable to eat. I don’t even like cactus most of the time and this had me eating it with my fingers along with the tortillas, grilled jalapeño, and grilled chicken. This is the first Mexican restaurant we’ve tried since moving to Leland and we don’t need to look anywhere else. So glad we live just minutes away and can’t wait to try even more of their food. Thank you so much!

The absolute best. We love their tostada’s and burritos. So much food and the churros go, get some. It is delicious, super quick and reasonably priced. 10 out of 10 you have to try them!

Ordered fresh tacos, they did not have a vegetarian taco option but were easy to work with & came up with a great taco recipe quickly.

We’ve traveled all over Mexico and have eaten a lot of fabulous Mexican food throughout their country. This little hidden gem is some of the very best Mexican food we have ever had! Very authentic. i had the chicken chilaquiles and my husband had a steak torta. Both were amazing. The green salsa packed a nice heat. All the flavors were bursting and doing a happy dance in my mouth. I was very excited to see that they have chilaquiles on their menu because this is so hard to find in the states. i haven’t found it in any other Mexican restaurant here in Wilmington. Who would have thought a little place in Leland would have it! They also had mole as the special today. That’s hard to find too! They have a cute little outdoor covered seating area that makes you feel like you are in an authentic Mexican taqueria. When you first drive up, it doesn’t look like much but don’t let that fool you. We loved the entire experience and will definitely be back! Oh, and their sanitation score is a 98. Very clean and sanitary kitchen.

Lived in the area for a long time and just decided to give this little place a try. Authentic Great food!!! People of Leland and Wilmington and anywhere else for that matter, you won’t be disappointed. Will absolutely eat here again and spread the word. Felt bad we didn’t even leave a tip!

Just moved out here and we decided to try this place since we lived so close by. IT”S SO GOOD!! The chicken is especially awesome. We tried the street tacos, chicken quesadilla and the chicken tostada. Everything especially the vegetables were fresh and delicious. I will definitely continue to eat here.

Randomly drove by here today and decided to stop for some tacos. Carnitas, chorizo and barbacoa were all excellent. Served on fresh, soft corn tortillas with salsa verde and chipotle salsa which were both flavorful and delicious. Absolutely a must try if you’re looking for tacos in the area.
