The menu is simple, they specialize in steamed tacos with 4 types of meats. We tried the asada and cachete. The meat melts in your mouth. The tortillas were super soft.

Outstanding. Four kinds of beef tacos in order of deliciousness – asada, cheek, lips & brain. Salsa, onion, cilantro toppings. Served with fresh radishes and sliced cucumber and whole jalapeños. Fluorescent lights and simple tables. That’s it. Amazing.

Best al vapor/steam tacos by far you have 4 options cabeza (head) labios (lips) cachete (cheek) asada (beef) all though the names of the meats don’t give them justice don’t knock it till you try it very delicious in flavor add the green sauce for a kick for the habanero for a real spice. The tacos de cabeza here are the best in the West. I usually stop by once a week after work and all the damn traffic, it’s my reward for the madness. They also have freshly sliced cucumbers, lemon wedges, sliced radishes, jalapenos and a green and red salsa all at your disposal. What more could you ask for. The tacos are all vapor style and have so much damn flavor in the finely chopped meats and optional chopped onion and cilantro. The mini tortillas are delicious and super soft and chewy, just my style. The locations in South Gate and BG have the same consistent quality, which is always the sign of a finely run taco establishment. This place is a rare find in a sea of mediocre taco places.

Have always driven by, but never thought to give it a try…until today. They only sell tacos, which is not a bad thing. They only have 4 choices of meat, which is why it got dinged a star. The staff was friendly, courteous and quick. Not too bad of a spot.
