Delicious quesabirra and just about everything else. Knocking off two stars because of their beans, almost zero seasoning they are whole beans in the canned liquid. the rice was just okay, I did not like the cheese on the beans either it tastes very similar to blue cheese, some might like it all in all I really like this place and it’s my go to, but geez if your a Mexican place you gotta have good beans that’s a non negotiable.

Absolutely delicious food!
We purchased two meals with a side of beans and rice.
1.California burrito with pork was so good I wanted to steal it!
2. My street tacos were so delicious, fresh, and filling! New favorite place to get tacos from!
3. Beans and rice were delicious, moist, and they read our tiny delivery note about wanting more cheese! Very attentive service and all around great!

Nestled in the bustling corner of Esplanade and E Lassen, this hidden gem of a food truck offers a tantalizing experience for taco enthusiasts. With swift and friendly service, ordering from this local eatery is a breeze. I opted for their taco plate, a steal at 5 for $7. Each taco was a flavor explosion, packed with savory goodness. I’ve only had the tacos from here but i’m sure everything is just as good or even better!!

While I usually pass on the extra veggies, the onions served on the side were irresistible. Their crispness and subtle sweetness complemented the savory meat perfectly, adding an extra layer of texture and flavor to each bite. It was a delightful surprise that left me craving more.

The quality of the food combined with the affordable prices makes this food truck a must-visit for any taco aficionado. I found myself planning my next visit before I had even finished my meal. With such a satisfying experience, I have no doubt that I’ll be returning very soon.

In conclusion, if you’re in the mood for delicious tacos served with a smile, look no further than this food truck on Esplanade and E Lassen. It’s a true local gem worth seeking out.

Their crunchy tacos and birria ramen are easily my favorites. The music always sets a great vibe, and I love the cool hand-drawn artwork around the order window. Such a fun spot!”

The place, and truck, were once one of the best in Chico. In the last year, I’ve been giving them chance and chance again, and each time is such a disappointment. Between the portion sizes decreasing, burritos of mostly rice and greasy-as-hell quesadillas, it’s near the bottom of my list now. It’s sad. I’d gladly pay a bit more for a burrito that isn’t 85% rice. But tonight, tonight was the line in the sand. Two quesadillas for about $30. So greasy I washed my hands twice in-between. And if you think for a second that it was the good greasy – the savory grease of quality(ish) meat and cheese – memories of Chuckie Cheese pizza should replace those thoughts.

Their portions have gone way downhill.
They can’t serve vegetarian dollar tacos because they “use more toppings than meat ones”
The breakfast burritos were dry with no flavor

I probably would’ve recommended this place like 6 months ago when i frequently ate here and the food was good, but I wouldn’t recommend it now.

Been here several times, won’t be going back again. As several other reviews confirmed, the portions have shrunk greatly. Ordered the usual $14 birria burrito. Lots of tortilla, little meat. The 2 stars are for the yummy birria and service is good.

SO GOOD! They never disappoint! I dream about the food, it’s so good. The tacos! The burritos! The birria egg rolls! Birria ramen! And the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. One of my favorite places in town. By far.

Time to try a new Foodie Adventure…
and why not try Tacos El Lider!?

I have to say I was definitely impressed with their Nachos. They were phenomenal and super delicious! I also enjoyed their Birria Tacos as well. I was pleasantly surprised and most definitely satisfied.

P.s. As someone who would rather Doordash, I was happy you were able to customize your order as most Mexican Restaurants on Doordash do not let you customize your order.

The food is good, but 4 out of 5 times that I order they screw up my food royally. I often pay for avocado and don’t get it, I request things be left off that I don’t like and they’re almost always not left off, and I always get DoorDash so it’s not an easy thing to just go to the store and get the right food that I just paid $40+ for. Sucks, but I won’t be ordering from here anymore.
