Their food is amazing. I drive 1 hour to eat there, and a hour home. Food is still warm when I get home. I always order burrito asada, and initially I was taken aback because they had beans in burrito. Now I find it part of the reason I love them. Big portions, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience there! Amazing job Tacos El Gordo!!!

Presentation 10/10 as you can see from the photo below. Tacos 8/10. The pastor had more of a sweet taste due to the pineapple. And the grilled onions cooked perf! However, one of the most important things for me when it comes to eating tacos are the limes. I rate them! Limes 3/10. They were hard and semi-dry! The service was okay but my bf and I saw how one of the ladies that work there kept staring at me the whole time—made me feel uncomfortable. I will be going back soon to try different food options!

Excellent food, including the most amazing refried beans . The carne asada is so tender and flavorful.
Generous portions. Fresh, hot and delicious. I have lunch for tomorrow, if it stays around that long.

I had the Quesabirria tacos! They were delicious! I also had the Tamarind Juice which was pretty good.
The menu is pretty limited, and there’s no chips n salsa. No chips n queso. Just the meal items lol. So don’t come starving lol.
