The menu was simple tacos, tortas, quesadillas and burritos. I ordered the Steak Taco dinner. The food was flavorful. The steak was an inexpensive cut but seasoned well. The rice and beans were good with a good consistency to both. The salsa verde was the most unique I have ever had. It had a smokey chipotle like flavor. Very good. I’ll eat here again.

Good tacos, nothing too crazy. A tad bit more expensive than other places i’ve tried but I believe it’s the best spot of tacos in peoria so far that i have come across. The place itself is a bit small but i think they’re expanding soon. Overall a 7/10.

Found this taco joint in East Peoria while I was in town for business. Excellent tacos made the right way with cilantro, onion and lime. Their taco sauces complimented the tacos well. They had two. One hot and one mild. Guy that worked there was super friendly and helpful. He let me try a small sample of their rice and beans since I did not order with my meal. They were good, as well. Not a ton of room to eat inside, but it’s large enough since most people eating tacos eat and go.
The guy working the counter told me they are moving to a larger location soon with more room and ability to sell alcohol. I wish them luck at their new location and hope they are able to grow their business since they have fantastic food. I will be back when in town. Enjoy!

This is the place for Authentic Tacos.
The vegetarian tacos were delicious. I would prefer Guacamole instead of Avocado slices. Burritos were great too! I would go to this for Tacos and Burritos but Rice and beans was too heavy for me.

I used to love this place. I would always get a steak quesadilla. Filled the whole plate. They were huge. It’s been a couple months since I had the chance to order from them. I actually thought the moved to the old ihop space that is where I went for my pick up. Oops. Anyway went to the old spot picked up my order and my quesadilla shrunk in half. It was like a taco. Price was the same. Did they need to chop the servings in half to pay for the second restaurant. Very disappointed will not be back.

Some of the best Mexican food in Peoria. The tacos and Tortas are freaking delicious and the Birria is prob the best I’ve had outside of Chicago or the southwest. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is I’ve been 3 times and asked for no onion each time but every time they’ve put onion on everything. Todays visit they got the tacos right but not the tortas so an improvement . If you’re not picky like me you’re golden. I’ll revisit and update but if you’re a fan of good Mexican food this place is worth the visit

Unexpected and amazing flavors here. Must see if you are driving through or living in Peoria,IL. Great-tasting tacos, possibly the best I have had in a few years now. Not much of a place to sit down and eat, but for the flavors and taste you can forgo comfortable dining. Very fair prices and filling for lunch.

Steak burritos were huge and amazing! Some of the best Mexican flavors that I’ve had! Coming from the Chicago area, there’s a giant burrito place around every corner. We’ve been looking for a place like this, in the Peoria area. This really fills a void and has better flavors than the Chicago area burrito places that I grew up eating. Friendly people, too!
