My Burrobirria was so delicious with savory consome for dipping and drinking. My friend got the Ramen and absolutely loved it. His fiancé didn’t like her regular burrito as it had too many peppers in it. I topped off my meal with cider at Tanuki vineyards which went perfectly. Totally worth the drive from Monterey.

Burrito beans were crunchy. Ordering station screen was filthy and gross. Birria was decent. Not sure I would try again. Friends rave about the Birria.
It is a truck so need to find your own seating. So. Eta of the wibe tasting places will let you use their tsbkes if you wine taste.

I had the asada, shrimp, and pastor tacos. Also had the quesabirria tacos with consommé. The asada was perfectly seasoned. It was my favorite. Shrimp was also fantastic. Pastor good but I wouldn’t get it over the asada. The quesabirria was great. Love the crunch of the cheese. The consommé was really good. I prefer sipping it than dipping. I ask for takeout but it’s just a plate covered in foil. Might as well just sit down in the area to eat. A bit disappointed they didn’t have any diet soda. Overall satisfying lunch.

LACKS FLAVOR, OVER PRICED, BASIC. I got a chicken burrito and when I tell you it’s worse than chipotle I MEAN IT. It was leaking the moment I got it. When I opened the burrito it wasn’t even wrapped and fell apart everywhere. Had little to no flavor. White rice has more flavor. The entire menu is OVER PRICED for poorly made food. Guacamole and chips is 8$, burritos are almost $13 not $11. Rice is as white as me. Beans are under cooked. Not worth it

We only tried the Tacos and they were excellent, we kept ordering for more. Unfortunately they don’t sell Horchata, sadly a miss. Regret they can’t place some cocktail tables for dining at the venue.

As a Mexican, maybe I expect more out of a taco- they were ok, edible but not pleasant. Very oily carne asada, poor quality meat, and the smallest amount of onion/cilantro I’ve ever seen. Salsas were good, helped to cover the oily and otherwise tasteless meat. If you don’t know what a real taco should be, you’ll love it.

It was sooo good!! I got the birria burrito it was delicious, the Guacamole portion ( i got the spicy one) awsome! Definitely recommend this place if you want some birria tacos or burritos in Santa Cruz!!

We are so happy with our decision to serve Chuy’s tacos to our guests at our wedding welcome party. Months before the event we came and sampled all the tacos. For the event we ended up going with carne asada, chorizo, al pastor, and vegetarian. The chorizo is especially outstanding! Everyone LOVED the tacos, Chuy and his team were really nice, and they kept the line moving really well! Chuy was easy to work with in planning the event. Highly recommend!!!

I tried the veggie burrito and chips and guacamole. The veggie burrito was mostly rice, beans, and crunchy vegetables with little flavor. The guacamole was about 1/3 tomato which is not my thing. The chips were very good and the outdoor seating is a nice place to hang out.
