Tacos El Chido is my favorite to go spot for delicious veggie quesadillas. It’s not on the Manu but they make it on a request. It’s huge. And the best part is their sauces, avocado sauce with red & green spicy sauce is my absolute favorite.

Visiting Hollywood California as a birthday gift from my sons. We came across this place and we’ve eaten dinner here twice. Delicious, inexpensive, the Man & woman running the place were awesome and let me take pictures. We had quesadilla’s al pastor and asada tacos.

There are many places to find a taco in LA. This is one of the best. The tortillas are not the doubled flimsy ones that fall apart they are thicker and don’t fall apart as easily. They have so many drink options, no liquor, but many sodas and even Mexican Cokes in the bottles. It’s as street as street tacos get and one of Hollywood favorites.

I stayed in Hollywood for a few days. This food truck has become my favourite joint as a mid-night diner. Highly recommend beef cheek (Cabeza) taco, if it is on the menu. And green chilli sauce if you like hot and spicy. Do not forget to grab a super size iced water from the nearby petroleum station, to wash down the dinner.

Paid $17 for an asada and pastor mixed burrito, it took like 15-20 minutes and every 5 bites there was a tough chewy piece of meat. I had high expectations because of the great reviews maybe this was just an off night for them but judging from this one experience def not going back.

Tacos El Chido is one of my favorite street taco stands by Hollywood, and one which I think is rather underrated when compared to other spots!
Located by the La Brea & Santa Monica Blvd intersection, there’s some space to pull in if you need to park.
It’s fun to see the asada and other meats being freshly cooked and prepared behind the stand, where you can also find ample sauces and other toppings to add to your order.
There’s some seating available, although obviously as a parking lot stand location, this is best used as take-out.
Our order was ready within a few minutes of placing it, and we headed back home to try it!
The tacos were all very solid LA street tacos – especially the Al Pastor, which had great heat to them and a good hint of the pineapple infused as well.
The standout to me, however, were the mulitas – packed full of sour cream, guacamole & other toppings, every bite melted in my mouth and was packed full of punch and flavor.
I didn’t want to put it down and take a break while eating!
If I’m not painting a clear enough picture – get the mulitas!! Everything was very solid and delicious though, so you’ll be pleased no matter what!
I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area at night!

Tortillas are made right there on the spot. Meat and souces are great. Tacos are awesome. One of the best tacos we ever had. Loved the on stree vendor part.
