The tacos here may be the best and most authentic in the Treasure Valley. Friendly cashier and atmosphere. The rice was 100% the best I’ve had here, but the beans were a bit salty. Salsa was spicy and excellent. I’ll definitely make a stop here again next time I’m in the area.

After living in San Antonio for 3 years I feel spoiled. And wow, these were some of the best street tacos I’ve ever had. The green salsa bottle was 10/10. Thank you Tacos El Centro for an amazing visit

Best Street Tacos.

We get these frequently for gatherings of family and friends, or when we just want tacos.

So far I’ve never met a person who doesn’t LOVE these tacos.

Not impressed with the burritos. No carnitas on the day we visited. So, we settled for a pollo burrito and one of adobada. Very little meat in either one. Mostly Mexican rice. Very little, if any, cheese or salsa bandera/fresca. No frijoles at all. Below average size. Disappointing, in a farming community that has a significant Mexican population (for Idaho).

For a small town, fantastic Mexican food. Authentic feel and taste. Everything is delicious! Language can be a barrier but they understand enough to get your order and answer general questions. Just don’t expect small chit chat unless you are fluent in Spanish. Tacos and burritos are very delicious and the value is pretty good.

Solid, authentic Mexican food like no place else! The staff is super friendly, but I have to give four stars because it’s difficult to know what you’re paying for. Everything on the menu board looks like it’s $8.88, there is a bit of a language barrier and there isn’t an itemized receipt to know what you’ve paid for. In my case, bottled water, since I have never paid for water in my life until tonight. (I believe the Health Dept requires restaurants to offer free water.) Despite the negative, I’d certainly return here if I were ever in Melba again. I spent $35 to fully feed 2 adults and 2 children, which isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Great food. Give them a shot.

It was so hot all we had were tacos, steak and chicken. Both were great, lots of cilantro and their red hot sauce is very good. It was empty except for us, but were there after lunch hours. The ladies are very nice. We’ll be back.!

Family owned and great people. The mom runs ot most days, and she is so nice. I order take out and tried to pay over the phone, but she said no, just pay me when I get there. Its like a little piece of old Idaho.
