My husband and I have eaten here twice in the last week trying new items each time.
The quesabirria tacos are so good, the green chili smothered burrito is HUGE and delicious , and last but not least, the ranchero taquitos (I got chicken)… were crispy, and fresh-they were my favorite so far!!
This little place is small, but mighty, and the service is excellent.
Prices are extremely reasonable and they are not stingy with the portion size… I’ve had to take a to go box both times!
Leslie, don’t sleep on the chips and salsa. The best in town.

It’s a shame some of the reviews are from the past and other locations. We happened to be going to Safeway and saw they were open, so we went in to try something. My husband and I split a smothered beef burrito plate (you can choose your meat) and it was delicious. Flavorful and well priced. It will certainly give the 2 big Mexican restaurants in town some competition. You pay for the space and decor, but the food here is much better and more “authentic”! This is coming from a Mexican gal. And there is more variety. Can’t wait to try the chilie relleños and their soups!
The lady at the counter was very nice also. The food came out fast.

The food was so amazing. I have food allergies, and they made a bowl for me mostly with meat and spicy red sauce. The cook made me laugh because I asked for extra spicy, and he was in the back laughing like bwahahahhaha. My husband ordered a burrito and that was really good. Great experience when wanting more than just plain meat.

Cool little hidden gem, great place to stop for lunch after a weekend of camping! Fast, friendly service, chips and salads as soon as I sat down, great music and atmosphere. Ordered a margarita and smothered Chicken burrito. Soo good! Will be coming back for sure!

Stopped here on our way to Buena Vista.
The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t to my taste. My dining companion ordered a combo plate with a pork tamale and a beef chimichanga. I ordered an enchilada suisa.
My dining companion said his chimichanga was good. Filling. Definitely wasn’t the best tamale he’s ever eaten. My enchiladas had something (can’t quite place it) that I didn’t care for at all. But, I ate them.
We sat on a little table outside.
Overall, an edible meal, but I wouldn’t choose to eat here again myself.

My husband and I LOVE Mexican food. We always try to find new places to eat at. For our anniversary dinner we went to Serranos Mexican Bar and Grill in Woodland Park. It was fantastic. The salsa had great flavor (which is a key point for me to like a Mexican restaurant). My husband ordered the steak fajitas and I wish I had. the flavor was phenomenal, and the meat was almost grounded up and easy to place in the tortillas. I ordered the crispy chili relleno and an enchilada and both were very cheesy and tasted great. They were short staffed, but it didn’t matter. The server was quick and the we never had to ask for refills she was on top of every table! We even took extra sals home with us. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Alright here we go… so when you think of Woodland Park there’s no way that you’d think there’d be authentic Mexican food here, i was quite skeptical.. to be clear, I’m a Latina from So Cal and it’s extremely HARD to find authentic Mexican cuisine here in Colorado Springs or any mountain area. With that said, the ONLY reason why I’m not giving these guys a 5 stars is because I honestly thought the prices were a little too high for the plates.. BUTTTT the atmosphere is great, they have Mexican artwork, decor and pictures up. They got a little cute bar setup and tv set up. The staff was friendly and I expected to find Caucasian teens working here (nothing wrong with tha but we WERE in Woodlad Park) but you got a Hispanic staff here, the lady in the front was lovely and friendly. If I were to come back here it would be once in a blue moon because of the prices but it’s definitely a spot to check out if you crave Mexican. The tacos de asada were great, arroz Rojo and beans tasted homemade and the bean and cheese chimichanga hit the spot!
