Plenty of parking, lots of stuff on the menu. Everything looks good. The tacos are good and tasty the carne asada fries is pretty good. The portions are good. Taste and flavor is really good. If your in the area and want mexican food check them out. Fast service was good. Nice staff. Pay with cash if you can.prices are higher if using a card.

Price 2/5 increased in price recently other have complained about it (see receipt)
Value 4/5 good portion size
Taste 2/5 taco is overly wet and too salty . The beef head and beef tongue doesn’t have much flavor
Probably not a taco place that I would consider going back

Absolutely amazing food. I drive all the way from Orange for the tacos de lengua and carnitas. This is my go-to spot when friends and family visit from out-of-town. It has not disappointed. Also, the chile relleno burrito ( yes, that is not a typo) is damn good! Oh, and the Hibiscus (jamaica) drink is legit. Treat yourself and check out Tacos Don Goyo!

Absolutely amazing tacos! Tacos Don Goyo is hands down one of the best places to grab a bite in town. From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat – the meat was perfectly cooked, the tortillas were soft and warm, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. But what really set this place apart was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making my dining experience even better. I can’t recommend this place enough – whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal, Tacos Don Goyo is definitely the place to go!

I highly recommend the best tacos in town, specifically the al pastor tacos, which are exceptional. The meat is remarkably juicy and tender, and the tortillas are handmade. I appreciate that they offer guacamole. I advise against ordering asada, as the meat tends to be tough and overcooked. However, if you’re not a fan of Pastor, I recommend opting for chicken instead. We’ve visited both the Downey and Brea locations, and while the Brea location offers more parking, the Downey location is still a great option.

They have the best tacos in OC! I’m talking about real authentic Tijuana style tacos. Haven’t had taco like this ever since I left San Diego and I drive 20 + miles because it’s that good + worth it.

This place in an easy to miss strip mall in Brea. Often busy with people taking take out, it is worth a stop.
I ordered a carnitas taco (5*), a carne asada taco (4*), and an al pastor taco (4*). My partner ordered the tripas burrito. It was giant. Well filled with meat, beans, and some rice. But a good balance. He said it was great. The tripas were well cooked and tasty.
The salsa bar is great, offering three salsas, of various spiciness. The pickled onions are spicy and delicious. The radishes as always a welcome crunch of freshness. I will return.

Check your bill! I would have been charged +$1 than what is listed on the electronic board!
Prices on the screen do not match what you get charged, even if paying cash. There’s another recent review with the same experience.
I love this place and frequent both La Puente and Brea locations. Burrito is listed at $12.50 but they charged me $13, which you’ll see in the receipt is – $.50 bc I was going to pay in cash, so if I paid with my card it would be been $13.50!
When I asked the worker who was described as the lead on duty, she said “It’s not my problem. I don’t have any say in this. I just do what I’m told,” and wouldn’t acknowledge this was a problem. I definitely will not be returning until address this. I’m guessing a majority of customers don’t realize they’re paying more than they think.
