This is a must visit place. Sammy is incredibly hospitable, making sure you have everything you need and enjoy. The food is absolutely incredible and I could not recommend more. I actually went there twice in the 36 hours that I stayed in Palm Springs, the first visit I had the flautas which I could not recommend more. Chips and salsa are delicious with different types of salsa with different spice levels, and the second time I had a breakfast burrito, which was just huge. The restaurant has a very homie and family vibe to it, great seating and options to sit outside if you’d like to as well. Prices are great, especially for the amount of food that you get, and despite some things being greasy, they taste super fresh. Definitely a must visit on your stop!

The owner and chef Sammy cares deeply about customer service. He is working on updating the website which is out of date especially with the hours (Google is correct).
While we waited for our food to go they brought us chips and salsa to enjoy. The salsa was flavorful and delicious. I would like to see a hot salsa option available in the future too.
Overall we enjoyed our food. The biggest complaint was the burritos and fries were greasy but still overall we enjoyed our meal. The burritos are huge! We got the vaquero burrito which was delicious. The lengua for the fries was tender, flavorful and melted in your mouth. The camaron vampiro taco was crispy, cheesy and seasoned perfectly and adding some salsa complemented it perfectly. The auga frescas were refreshing.
We will definitely be coming back for vampiro tacos and lengua!

Had a wonderful experience here! The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely hospitable, which made us feel very welcome. Our server was attentive and super friendly throughout the meal. The Pacho Burrito was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and a generous portion! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall, a great dining experience — highly recommend this spot!

Came for a quick bite before a late afternoon movie. Forgot it was taco Tuesday. Had a nice selection of street tacos. Damn good! Super flavourful. The starter nachos and salsa were excellent too. Great service. Highly recommend.

Tiny little restaurant so you have to be on the lookout for it. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Just be prepared inside is really small if you’re going to eat in there, but it was super clean inside. The chef/cook even came out to check on us and see how our meal was and thanked us for coming in. The tortillas were delicious. All of this at a very reasonable price. I would definitely go back again. If you’re in town or visiting you should stop by this place.

Oh my god, seriously best tacos and dishes we have eaten. As self described by the owner, a little hole in the wall, but you don’t want to miss!

Ordered two Lengua Tacos which I ate on site and the Birria Taco meal to go.
I suspect that I received Cabeza Tacos instead of Lengua only because of the consistency of the meat and the amount of grease. Either way, the Tacos were delicious. Rather small (3 bite) but the meat was flavorful and the fresh homemade Corn Tortillas are always a game changer. Was also given Chips and Salsa and the Salsa was really good.
Also tried two Salsas on the Salsa Bar. The Green was good, rather mild but the other one was HOT. Good flavor, just use sparingly if you’re into hot.
I wish I would have eaten the Birria on site as I ate it three hours after it was prepared so I’m not being fair. The meat was dry and could have used a bit more flavor, but again that is probably due to eating it three hours after. I did get a nice large cup of Consommé which had great flavor and helped out big time. Rice and beans were solid. Did not picture the Birria Tacos, Rice and Beans because they were very photogenic at the time.
Meal was $30 with a $5 tip. On par with the area.
Owner Sammy is a pleasure. Great guy, great service and great atmosphere. Probably won’t return because I’d check out other places, but if you’re into Authentic Mexican I’d definitely give this place a try.

I will dream of these tacos and this breakfast burrito when I leave and go back to the Mexican food desert that is the east coast. The corn tortillas are all handmade fresh and a little charred and perfect, the meat is full of flavor, and the salsa is perfectly balanced. I’d sit and eat the chips and salsa for hours if I could. Honestly the best chorizo taco I’ve had in so long. Portions are large and price is fantastic, but the real hero here is the owner Sammy, who is an absolute delight. You have to try this spot. I’ve been in town two days and I’ve eaten here twice so far!

This is a little hole in the wall taco joint that probably has the best mexican food in palm springs. Me and my girlfriend got the tacos and the california burrito. Everything tastes fresh and authentic! Really some of the best flavors and a real home made vibe. This is coming from a guy who has eaten california burritos his entire life. Also the owner (Sammy!) is just about the nicest most humble person I’ve ever met and gifted at cooking authentic mexican food. The only thing i will say is that the place is a little small and a one to two person operation (slightly longer food prep time — worth it though) so be prepared for that as i think it wont be long until this place starts to get a following and there is a line out the door. Support local great food and try out Tacos del Valle! I’ll most definitely be back the next time i swing by Palm Springs!

In the corner of a little strip mall with easy parking. The yellow sign makes it easy to spot.
Overall felt that my experience was inconclusive. Wanted to check out the handmade tortillas and delicious looking carne asada. There was only one other customer when we arrived. I ordered 4 tacos between two people and it took 20-30 minutes. Normally I’d order a couple rounds but didn’t have the time.
The tortillas were soft and nice. The tacos were teeny. See compared to chip picture. The flavor felt overpowered by the charred red onion.
In the end I’d revisit but probably call it in to go
