Hidden gem, tacos come with side of nopales, grilled onions and jalapeños toreados
Always legit taste, would recommend anyone to hit this spot.

I stop here almost every time I go to the drive-in and it is bueno! Everything has been good. The frijoles charo are fantastic. Cash only. The only critique is I haven’t ever seen a trompo. Put that meat on that spit. I see the vertical broiler back there. It would really chub me up.

Uber delicious, just a little on the pricy side. 6 tacos (4 pastor and 2 asada) came to $22.

Tacos el trompo was delicious! My family and I stumbled at this taco place by accident. My favorite places to eat is when you eat and you feel like your at home with the service received. The frijoles charros were delicious I have never had these type of charo beans and I could not get enough. I tried the cabeza tacos and the meat was perfect along with tacos cecina. My kids were satisfied and my picky husband was happy I highly recommend!

Food was alright. We got two hot dogs and 1 taco. Total was around $21. The hot dogs were very underwhelming. The menu also didn’t have prices showing which can be frustrating. They do give good portions though.

I’m sure the food here is very good. But it’s a little shifty. No prices listed on anything. The cashier looked at us as of we were crazy to expect that. The cashier has to tell you the price on each item, and it’s a rather large menu. I ordered 3 hot dogs 7.50 each, a meal that cost $10, and 4 drinks at $2 each. Total was $55…? That didn’t add up. Also cash only, which is why we didn’t eat there, I didn’t catch that before entering and didn’t have quite that much cash on hand.

Definitely worth trying. This spot has a unique traditional taste in their tacos other spots lack. You HAVE to try them and yes, pineapples DO go in tacos, Al Pastor please!
Just don’t mind the grumpy old lady taking your order and remember cash only.

All the food tastes absolutely great. I usually get tacos de pastor and love them but the tortas and quesadillas are great as well. I have re-edited my review. Food is amazing in regards to service it is very well non existent but you can tell they are trying to work on it with a new cashier. It is still only cash though. I am not grading them on service just food.
Edited Aug 2023- tacos and quesadillas with pastor are still bomb! I don’t care for the other meats only pastor and I love that they have nopales.

I don’t understand there isn’t a single restaurant in the phoenix valley who can figure out how to make authentic pastor on a trompo
There isn’t a single place serving authentic trompo pastor, this one included
Pastor from a trompo is NOT grilled before serving – it’s smoked and then lightly charred on the outside
