Tacos and Craft in Peoria absolutely slapped. The chilaquiles were mind blowing and the carne asada fries were the kind you pretend you will share but never actually do. Service was fast, food was hot, and I did not have to wait long enough to reconsider my life choices. Prices sit on the fancy side for fast food, but the flavor makes every dollar feel like a solid investment in happiness. Go hungry. Leave happy. Maybe unbutton your pants in the car.

Small taco burrito spot located in shopping center, questionable on the outside however once you walk in you forget the outside the resturant is cozy and warm. Clean and friendly welcoming service. You can order to go or sit and eat, full bar, buy one get one burrito FREE, complimentary chips w/salsa (red & green) and guacamole. Was not a fan of the red salsa not a hint of spice however the green salsa was good. Rice and beans in my opinion not recommended. Menudo is served daily have not tried yet as it was made the previous day so I am waiting for when it is fresh. Open 24 hours. Tacos are around $3.25+. Dine in experience was amazing. Recommended to try

First time coming for taco tuesday and did not disappoint. Greeted immediately and sat at the bar. We were the only ones dining in (until a family of 4 came in after we’d been there for a bit) and were given chips, guacamole and salsa right away. They do have a good tap beer selection but unfortunately only had a few bottled beers available at the time. They have a small liquor selection as well. Interior was clean, nice music and TVs.
Asked for a hotter salsa and she brought out 2 others that were very good. Ordered the 2 craft taco special for $12 (came with refried beans and Mexican rice), el jefe and drunk chicken. Shredded beef was tender, chicken was marinated and very flavorful. They use blue corn tortillas which is a nice change of pace. Will definitely be back to try other food items. Also did not know they serve wings, chicken sandwiches and other fried foods.
Thank you for the great service!!

I want to start by saying that when this place first opened it was awesome! Now I’ve been here twice in the last month and I’m not sure if they changed owners or what, but it’s just not the same vibe anymore, and the food quality especially in some dishes, is just ….. disappointing. Both times I’ve gone on the weekend and the ladies working at that time are rude and clearly don’t want to be there. I went here the other day, ordered the queso and chips appetizer and was honestly stunned at when they brought me. It was a bowl of grease. (When I ordered this dish about a year ago, it was delicious!!) I was floored that they were even okay with bringing this dish to the table. At first I gave them the benefit and tried mixing it around, thinking the cheese may have just separated a bit. Nope. It was not mixable and when I tried to dip my chip into it….it broke. When i asked them to take it back they were rude, and unapolagetical. I won’t be returning anytime soon until they make some much needed changes.

So I have the buy 1 get 1 free burrito with my husband, we both got the carne asada burritos. The meat was very soft and flavorful and had very little to no fat in the meat (I like that because I’m a picky eater). The waitress was super nice and attentive. The price was fair we got 2 burritos for $18 after taxes.

Order Uber eats rolled taco combo no guacamole, carne asada tacos. Got this. Even sodas had an awful taste to them. Tried to open the flautas to take meat out and it was truly not edible. Everything went straight to the trash, along with my driver cash tip and over 1 hour wait.

The service was absolutely terrific, I would give it 5 stars off of that alone if it weren’t for the absolute scam this place is. $16 for a burrito that is filled with a massive tortilla. The waitress was beyond fabulous and had my food prepared differently because of the amount of tortilla in each meal. You’re also provided plastic silverware that you have zero hope of cutting anything with. The staff did a wonderful job of trying to make up for the owners being so cheap, they’re trying to skimp on customers, but there is only so much they can do. Atmosphere would be great if the music was turned down a bit and not blasting obnoxious music. Extreme let down as it looks like there was a lot of effort put into the place. Food tasted great besides the tortilla. To the owners: stop being cheap and listen to your staff when they tell you something is wrong. I will not eat here again.

It’s a 3.7 from me but I rounded down because of the 3.75 street tacos being a little high in price and the green salsa lacking flavor and heat. It’s a small sit down place with a bar.
The ambience is decent here I like the decorations but it’s more like a brewery or American burger place or something not quite Mexican. They have 4 TVs going which is great since I dined solo.
I got 3 different meats: asada, chicken and carnitas. I liked the carnitas the best and chicken the least. I think the chicken should be shredded instead. the asada was completely unremarkable.
I liked the orange red salsa. didn’t like the bland flavorless salsa that came with the chips. so out of everything I liked the carnitas and little and red salsa a little. not enough to propel them to 4 stars but it was a decent meal.
I would try a burrito next time and maybe the craft tacos at $5 are worth it. I don’t live nearby so probably won’t return but thanks for the food!

I was ecstatic when I saw this place was coming. I’ve been about 6 times. The first couple times were amazing. Greeted right away very attentive. Food hit delicious and had amazing flavors. I would give it 5 out 5 stars. But I’ve had two bad experiences. Once we’re we witnessed a couple leave cause the waitress never bothered to greet them. I’ve been back last night after having a great experience a couple weeks ago where is saw that they were now 24hrs. The food a couple weeks ago was absolutely delicious and large portioned. The waitress on duty was amazing. Couldn’t ask for better service. But after going last night Thursday the 4th. I saw lots of people picking up orders. So I ordered on Uber eats. We went in to have a beer while we waited for are order. Pink pineapple was out and I ask for the Voodoo Ranger IPA which is a strong beer I have very often this beer was like a light beer. It had to have a problem with the lines or something. But the waitress on duty has no answer expect she was just covering. While failing to get us a beer she walked away and got are order. Dissatisfied we left. After getting home my Al Pastor burrito was not the same quality as I’ve had in previous visits. It was more dry and was not as full of a burrito as I’ve had there before. The Spicy Lamb upset my girlfriends stomach who is accustomed to Lamb and Mutton. Disappointed after this visit. But I will be back because I know they do have great food and service it just seems consistenty can be a problem. I hope the owners see this because I want them to know. I really love this place and it at times is 5 stars but some people just don’t want to be there and it brings down the level on certain days.

We decided to stop in on Mother’s Day to enjoy some tacos and margaritas. There is nothing I love more than avoiding giant crowds and enjoying my time out supporting a local spot. We really liked the vibe when we walked in. While the bar is small is looks great and feels larger with the large window at the entrance. There are also high tops and tables with cozy chairs if you don’t want to sit at the bar. We were told we could sit anywhere wed like. I knew quickly I was going to try a Quesabirria taco with consommé as well as carne asada with side of rice and beans. We also ordered rolled tacos as an appetizer. Along with a few other tacos as well. They brought complimentary chips and salsa. While the chips were great the salsa they same with it was so watery. We picked up some other ones from their salsa bar and loved them. The green one had an awesome kick and a red with great chunks of tomato etc and flavor.service was awesome and we had everything in no time. The rolled tacos were topped with fresh avocado and cheeses. So good! My Quesabirria was phenomenal and I’m mad I didn’t order multiple. My carne asada taco was ok but a bit dry. The adovada taco was a hit and the flavor of the mango sauce hit the spot. The chicken taco you guessed it …delicious as well. All in all great stop. Prices were fair and service friendly our entire visit. The margarita was huge and tasty. The beer on tap was good and cold.
