I love this taco truck so much! The people are so kind and they take Zelle now if you don’t have cash. The shrimp taco is my go-to, but I’ve never gotten anything I don’t like here.

It’s a truck so there’s no atmosphere. But the shrimp tacos never miss. And it always tastes fresh. You also can’t beat the price.

I see this truck daily on Fulton Street in Manhattan so I decided to give them a try. I was the 1st customer as soon they parked and I placed an order for 4 shrimp tacos. Took maybe 10-15 minutes to prepare being they were just getting started and cost 20 bucks.. Average price for the area.. When I sat and opened the bag I noticed each taco was individually wrapped in paper that was cool. Now the taste, there really was none the tacos consisted of 2 1/2 shrimp each taco, pico de gallo, and guacamole. All you cans taste is salt. It comes with tiny pieces of lime and a few pieces of cucumbers which had hair on them. I wouldn’t recommend this truck. I did notice the driver get up and stand in the way of where the food was being prepared and then put on 1 glove while reaching for something. They never opended the window so I had to go off trusting my food was handled properly.

Had I realized these tacos were served in a flour tortilla, I would not have gotten them. I prefer corn tortillas and feel like Mexican food trucks should offer both. In my opinion, tacos feel more authentic and tastes better in a corn tortilla. The steak tacos had a lot of meat in them which was nice but the taste was mediocre, not much flavor and it felt like the meat was simmered more so than grilled. The guacamole added a nice touch but they only gave me one sauce for 3 tacos and the sauces are very tiny. If the meat had more flavor, had that grilled char and taste to it, and served in a corn tortilla, it would’ve been better. Each taco was $5, with tax I paid $16.33. They take credit or cash and it’s the same price with no upcharge on the credit card, so that’s one plus at least.

A popular food truck offering authentic mexican taco, burrito, and more. My favorite is the cochinita pibil, slow roasted pork shoulder marinated in citrus juice, tender and juicy. The tortilla is particularly soft, the taco portion is generous, two would make an easy meal or big snack. The seasoning is a bit light for my palate. Overall a delight option for the neighborhood and/or you happen to be in the East village craving for small eats.

BEWARE!
We placed an order on Sunday, July 27th, and when it arrived, my wife immediately felt something was off with the chicken. She’s picky, so i brushed it off—huge mistake.
While the food tasted decent to us both, about 48 hours later, we started experiencing severe symptoms that matched those of Norovirus—likely due to poor hygiene or contaminated food. We were hit with violent stomach pain, extreme chills, and high fevers.
As of August 1st, we’re only about 80% recovered. This was one of the worst illnesses we’ve ever endured.
Buy at your own risk. We will never order from here again.
