Finally got to try authentic Mexican food in California, the guy that took oir order was super friendly. I ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it with some of the other customers because I was about to take a plane. The carnitas are amazing, and I loved the “pata”, which is a whole pig’s foot.

Came here for lunch on a whim because I was craving al pastor tacos. I ended up getting one pastor and one lengua. Both tacos were loaded with meat, which is always super appreciated! My mouth was watering from the smell!
The pastor was pretty good, I finished the whole thing and barely had room for the 2nd one. I have to say that although the pastor taco was good, I do prefer the pastor that is prepared on a spit or trompo as it’s so much more flavorful. This new trend of tacos joints using or chopped up bits of marinted pork is just not the same, and sadly, everyone seems to be doing that now.
The lengua taco was not for me as it was a bit too chewy. I tried a bite without sauce and then one with the red sauce, but I couldn’t make it through it. The red and green sauce were both good, but the green was my favorite. Especially to dip the chips they give you into.
I will definitely be back for lunch to try the other meats they have available because they have some good flavors.

I got a carne asada mulita and it was delicious! Spicy salsa on point not a fast food restaurant so don’t expect to go in and out with your food if you’re in a rush just call ahead instead. Overall great food

Food was decent. First time around had the tacos dorados, folded, that were very good! Second time around I had a carne asada quesadilla and that was ok. The meat was a bit rough and chewy. Customer service can be improved, especially near closing. It’s in a small shopping center where you can usually find parking. Near the beach, so not a bad spot to grab and go before going to the beach. I’ll be back for tacos dorados.
