Great authentic casual Taqueria. With the sudden openings of Mexican Restaurants in the Weston area, this one I would say is my favorite. Reasonably priced with great ambiance. Loved the menu breakdown leaving no assumptions as to what everything is. I tried a few different tacos all were excellent! They feature a Monopolio beer, which I must say is amazing. I had the negra (dark). Definite 5 foodies.

This place has so much potential yet its cursed by its premises and location. Its located in a strip mall that is not the easiest to get to where many others have failed. However, the service was superb and the food was above average. The colors inside are vivid and the smells are great. However, it does protrude a scent of ‘corporate chain’ rather than a taco joint and it is incredibly loud inside (ceilings are way too low and with music so loud people have to speak loud). The kitchen is not really an open concept which takes away specially since they claim to fame is the tacos al pastor and without showing the trompo you cant really say that. The ‘queso’ wasn’t. They used mozzarella (WHAT?) and it was not even melted when we got it. I’d go back but perhaps when there is les people in it. Also, they really need to get rid of those plastic cups.

I had the best experience at La Potranca Tacos thanks to Anderson Marin. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. He made great recommendations, checked on us at the perfect times, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it.
You can tell he really cares about giving top-tier service. The food was amazing, but Anderson truly made the whole experience even better. If you go to La Potranca Tacos, definitely ask for him — he’s hands down the best server there!

recently visited this taco restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent fresh, flavorful, authentic and perfectly cooked. The ambience was super nice, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal.
What really made the visit even better was the wonderful service. The person who took care of us, Sinahi, was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. She truly made us feel comfortable and added to the overall great experience.
I would definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back!

This was an amazing find! I stumbled on it looking for lunch and so glad I did! Tacos were amazing! Had the pastor and they were packed with so much flavor! I will definitely be back! The espresso was a great finishing touch as well! Waitresses were so friendly which made the experience so much better!

The Piña Agua Fresca was good but a little too sugary and sweet for my taste. The Quesabirria taco was absolutely amazing. The Pollo chicken taco was a little dry but had good flavor the Asada steak taco was ok nothing special in my opinion. The Al Pastor was delicious. The marinade on it was nice and savory, and it was made on a trompo as it should be. The campechano which was a mix of Mexican brisket and chorizo and that was by far my favorite. The brisket was nice and seasoned and had a really nice crisp on it and the chorizo had an amazing flavor. They had some amazing salsa guacamole, and a few other salsas. All the salsas were good, but my favorites were the Guacamole and Chilanga. Tacos (on tuesdays) are $2.70 each except the birria and two other meats…. Will most definitely be making the somewhat of a regular spot for tacos! Definitely worth a visit!
