I ordered a carne asada burrito today, and the food was absolutely disgusting. The meat tasted old and refried, and when my mom mentioned it, the owner dismissively said, “a lot of people ask for refried meat,” but nobody goes to a restaurant to eat old, reheated meat. He was extremely rude and condescending. As an emergency department registered nurse, I know this type of food handling is exactly how people end up with food poisoning. To make matters worse, when I called prior to my mom speaking to the owner, Karla (an employee) told us we would receive a refund, but when I showed up, the owner refused.
I once liked this place, but the experience I had was shocking. Who treats their customers like that, and who thinks serving old meat is okay?
The owner made it clear he didn’t care about losing a customer. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to avoid this place.

Placed an order over the phone and picked up, I requested salsas and when I picked up my order was only 2 little cups of salsa, my order was for 5 people 3 tortas, tacos and burrito….. they included chips with each order and no salsa ?
Ps…. Mexican food goes with salsa we inspected at least 1 salsa for each order, quality of food isn’t good as it used to be almost no meat on the tortas, carnitas tacos were hard, no taste

Our party of three got a burrito and two quesadillas around 5:30pm. The food was very good – it came out quickly and HOT . They were, however, out of guac , which takes out a lot of their menu and food possibilities ❌ . They did refund us for the guac we had already purchased but it was a major bummer because they weren’t that close to closing time . Probably would come back but if they’re out of guac again I wouldn’t return…

I was near the area because I was waiting for traffic to die down and it was about time to eat, so after looking around at a few places I decided to go here!
First of all, this place gives off mom and pop shop vibes (i love this vibe very much). Worker was very friendly and helpful in helping me decide what to get.
I settled for the fish taco combo (comes with rice and beans). Chips were also included. I also was craving carne asada fries so… had to splurge and get that too .
Food was great! I really enjoyed this entire meal. Flavors were on point. The only downside (more about preference) is the cheese used on the fries. Im not the biggest fan of liquid cheese but other than that, the fries were crispy, the carne asada was moist and flavorful, and that guacamole was amazing.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a no frills, mom and pop style mexican meal!

Agreed – the best Mexican food in Glendale! I’ve been searching for a place like this. Great small restaurant feel. AH-mazing food. Small parking lot out front. I got thr wet burrito and the fish taco, both delicious. Warm chips served while you wait.

The perfect asada tacos, I kid you not. The meat is diced nice and small and is the perfect firmness while being juicy. The sala is the right blend of spicy, but doesn’t burn going down, just leaves your mouth and lips warm. The chips are thin and salty and just a dream, especially when paired with the salsa. I travel a lot for work, so I have a lot of really mediocre tacos, and these are definitely not mediocre, they’re fantastic.

Carne asada tacos were good, would of been better if it came with refried beans. Parking is horrible. Small place to dine in. Not recommended for big parties.

Good fish and shrimp tacos for a reasonable price. Also enjoyed the veggie enchiladas. The sauce tasted homemade.
