Really enjoyed the ambience, service, drinks and food. Skinny margarita was perfect. Steak tacos and their red sauce was hot!! Tried the barria egg rolls….fantastic…our server, Olivia, was outstanding…friendly and knowledgeable. Will def go back.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent food and service. We were visiting from TX and wanted Mexican food and found Taco and Beers. My husband got the Gnarly Burrito and said it was the best he’s ever had. My fish and shrimp tacos were so good and wish I had a third taco. I got the natural margarita and recommend if you like a skinny margarita. If you are thinking of eating here, just do it. You will not regret it.

Go for lunch frequently, one of my favorites. Great staff and ambience. Only complaint is the inconsistentcy in the spice levels. Al pastor is sometimes like a 3 or 4 and sometimes it’s an 8 or 9. Good all the same though.

Skylar served me and my girlfriend tonight and she is wonderful! Everything is always great here but her bubbly and friendly personality I’m sure makes people want to return. Even while she’s talking to other tables she’s so super friendly and bubbly. She’s the best!

Visted this place for the first time a few days ago. Got 4 of the street tacos, different varieties, and the chips and guac. The tacos were absolutely delicious! A ton of meat and seasoned perfectly. The guacamole was really fresh and tasted great as well. Can’t remember the servers name, but she was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Food was good. They have good street tacos. They have lengua and chorizo. The 2 best ones in my opinion. Birria taco was kind of a let down. The brisket taco was ok. They do change for chips and salsa. It is unlimited if you get it though. The salsa was better than most places. We went on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. I know it gets really busy on Tuesday nights. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

“Tacos, Beer, and Unforgettable Bathroom Art!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Taco’s & Beer in Hammond, LA, delivers on every level! The food is absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and everything you’d hope for in a taco joint. Whether you’re craving classic tacos, loaded nachos, or something with a twist, every bite hits the spot.

But the real surprise? The bathroom art! Whoever curated it deserves an award. It’s fun, quirky, and makes a quick stop feel like a mini gallery visit. It’s the kind of unexpected touch that adds charm and personality to an already great place.

Combine incredible food with cold drinks, friendly service, and some of the most entertaining bathroom decor around, and you’ve got a spot you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The T&B Sampler is a family favorite — it’s so filling you don’t even need a full meal after! The Chimichanga was okay, just a little too spicy for my daughter. The Big Ass Burrito was really good and definitely lives up to its name! Great portions, fun atmosphere, and friendly service make it a solid spot for a casual night out.

Gone here a few times and generally had great experiences… but recently I discovered their $1 Taco Tuesdays. I know… how could I not know right? For a lunch time stop… it can’t be beat. Sometimes the wait gets long, so if you can… sit at the bar. Quick service and great food… Oh, the beer is pretty good, too!

My husband and I were in town for a work trip and wanted l tacos for lunch. Start to finish, we had a weird experience. The hostess was rude and not welcoming at all. When we sat down, I asked for lemon with my water and was informed that the restaurant with a full bar did not have lemons. My husband went to the men’s bathroom which was nearly pitch black and anyone sitting within eyesight of the booth could see directly into the bathroom. This was the same case for the ladies room. We were served tiny cups of bean soup at the start of our meal which was generally weird and did not taste good. The chips were unsalted, the ceviche was bland, and our street tacos were bland and dry, even though we ordered a variety of street tacos, most dripping in juice/grease! When the bill came, we noticed we were charged a total of $6.50 just to sub flour tortillas! They also charged my husband 50 cents more for his tortillas than they did me even though we both got four street tacos each. This was a weird experience, not worth the nearly $60 we paid for the meal. We are confused and disappointed and will not be coming back next time we’re in town.
