Wow!!!!! Don’t miss this place. The food is authentic & incredible! And, SO reasonably priced! I went on a Wednesday night after 10pm & at least three groups picked up food while I was there for a short time as they made my el pastor taco & pollo sopa. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Placed behind a gas station. It is a busy area that gets a good amount of customers. Especially with how many pulled up as we came in. Loved how the area was set up and the cashier was kind to take in my order (the basic courtesy of what you can get ordering). I am looking for a great taco truck as Mexican food is what I grew up eating. I ordered Asada Tacos, Burrito de Pastor, and Agua de Horchata. As I received my food, I noticed right away my food was lukewarm. For any food, you would want it hot as possible to show that its freshly made. It felt as if it was off to the side on low heat to grab right away. Even though it took about 15-20 minutes. I grew up making handmade tortillas and knew right away that it was not. The tortilla was already growing cold quickly and on top of that the meat (Asada) had barely any taste of seasoning. As if it only existed on the tortilla to be called a Taco. My burrito de Pastor I had high expectations. It was lukewarm, I asked for no rice as taco places usually use more rice to fill the burrito. In turn, the burrito was thinner than I was expecting. They did offer to add sour cream and lettuce, but even that did not make the burrito any bigger. It was lukewarm, even if it had some cold add ons, the meat should have been hotter and feel the difference of when you bit into the cold sour cream/lettuce and hot cooked asada. As a drink option, I ordered Horchata, a self favorite drink I usually get when an option. It was water downed and not strong of a flavor of the cinnamon and vanilla in the drink. I assumed it was due to the truck closing in less than an hour when I placed the order. Overall I was disappointed in the food. The meat on both items when not flavorful, along with them being lukewarm. The drink having a more of a water down taste. Along with the hot sauce, I always try one of each to find a favorite. Finding none of them spicy with flavor. Even the habinaro tasted slightly sweet to me, as I expected it to be packed with heat and flavor. This is my personal experience, someone else will have a different experience. This place has potential to add more flavor to their food and making sure it served hot next time.

Don’t pass on by!
We had Carne Asada & Pastor tacos after seeing the taco review guy on tiktok & am SO glad we did. Both were extremely tasty & were only enhanced by the sauces. Quick service, this place was dead come on Jax!, and they brought us a platter of sauces to choose from to go with our tacos. The red is a lil spicy but such great flavor, the Verde was as expected, the avocado was perfect with the pastor!
Def come by, they’re behind the BP at Beach & 295. Come down & show them some love.
They do take cards BTW & have some outdoor seating.

Tacos were excellent but they are now $5, too much. My cousin said her Quesadilla was awesome ($12). Lots of toppings and sauces included. They had really awesome Fiesta Mexicana music playing which made for a nice atmosphere while waiting. I liked it and will return. They take cards, if paying in cash bring small bills.

Even though I ate the tacos 25 minutes later than they were made, I still think they are the best in Jacksonville. The red sauce isn’t too spicy and also flavorful so even white people will like it! 5/5.
