I stopped here on a rainy day, in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Tacos Anita La Veracruzana did not disappoint.
This is a food truck on FM 521 in the Arcola/Fresno area. It shares the parking area with another business, so parking space is limited. I parked and walked up to the window. The menu is a little confusing but it’s basically the photos posted on the outside of the food truck.
I decided to order a torta and a gordita, both with fajita meat. I also ordered an horchata to wash it down with. The torta and gordita were both delicious. The meat was tender and flavorfull and blended well with the lettuce and tomato inside of it. The sauce gave it a creamy, savory, comforting taste to add depth to the bun on the torta and the corn shell of the gordita. The cheese was just the right amount, complimenting the meat but not overwhelming it. The lettuce and tomato kept everything tasting fresh. Last but not least, what is Mexican food without salsa. The red and green were both on point! While I’m not a big sweet drink person, the horchata was very good.
This was a solid meal from a local food truck and did not disappoint. The parking is very limited but you can call ahead and order. It’s located off of a busy road and traffic is a bit annoying around there but other than that, the service is excellent. The food truck operator is very nice and the food was worth the rain I stood in to order the food. There’s not much to say about the ambiance, since it’s a food truck in a very small lot on a loud road.
I’ll return to order the pambazos and sopes next. I’ll also try the mango or piña agua fresca next time.

stopped by on a gloomy Sunday afternoon when my husband and I were driving around. so glad we stumbled on this spot! the empanadas de picadillo were delicious! everything was super fresh & you can tell she puts love behind her food. can’t wait to come back and try more items from her menu. gonna tear into the tacos as soon as we get home 🙂

Got some tacos fajita and pastor delicious. Got that authentic home made taste and the salsa one of the best. This food stand is the best I’ve been too in Fresno area. Lady is really nice. Highly recommended

Great tacos! Always adds salsa and toppings! Awesome Customer service. I’ve called in to order and the food was hot and ready. The menudo is so good!! This is my go to taco truck in Fresno/Rosharon TX.
