Angel’s Tacos was easily one of the standout moments of my weekend getaway. After a day at the beach, I stopped by their food truck for a quick bite, and I’m so glad I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and my order came out fast. I tried two asada tacos with everything and an horchata agua fresca—and wow! These were hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had in Florida, and the horchata was the best I’ve had anywhere. This spot is officially my go-to Mexican food truck every time I’m back in Destin!

We ate here twice on this trip and it was amazing! It’s by the Track near the entrance. The food couldn’t have been any better. We got mula with steak and steak supreme tacos. The flavors are incredible and it’s a really great price for the food. They cook it fresh to order and the guys working there are working soooo hard and are very nice. I will definitely be coming back here and will have to try more things.

Decided to give this place a try, so we placed an order online. Went across town to find the food truck looking closed but it seemed to take our order and the lights were on. So one would assume they were open or working on your order after waiting until the time the order said it would be ready I walked up and knocked on the window and door several times, I could see someone in there so then I called their number but no answer. It wasn’t until I knocked like the police did they answer to tell me they aren’t taking orders. This place needs to change their hours if they are going to close hours earlier or need to remove the order online option because no one would know until they got there that they decided to close early. Such poor customer service, poor business practices, and just no care about customers time. I get things can happen and you can close but something needs to alert the online customers placing orders, or answer the phone, or answer the door when you have someone knocking when you clearly see them, the lights on, and a car parked at the food truck. Super frustrating after waiting with my family for that long to have someone be rude, and with no sort of care of how they are doing their customers. Will not recommend based off of customer service.

Miguel, the business owner is definitely a seasoned cook who brought his traditions, his hard work and his dreams to put together this fantastic hidden gem for us to get the best Mexican food around. While in Destin on vacation, I ate plenty of seafood, but for some reason, I had a hankering for some tacos. I ended up finding Tacos Angel, which was less than 8 minutes away from our resort. It’s a food truck and it’s located near the The Track and the prices were reasonable each taco was $3.50 and if you wanted it loaded with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce it was an extra dollar. I ended up getting three tacos: carnitas, which is pork, steak, and birria, and fully loaded, of course. I got two with flour and one with a corn tortilla. I ended up getting rice and beans on the side just in case the three tacos weren’t enough. Cuz nothing irritates me more than getting Itty bitty tacos, and they cost $15 to $20. But these tacos here, baby, were soooo damn good and hefty. The flavor on these was amazing. I enjoyed every single one. They give sauces to dip the tacos in and baby they were all good. You know the food is good when there’s no conversation. You didn’t hear a peep out of me until I was done, and I ate it all. I highly recommend this truck for delicious tacos.
