It’s a shame I even need to write a review because this place has really good tacos… but the customer service sucks and people need to know!
I called in and ordered ahead but it didn’t matter.
I called the first time and got hung up on. The second time they talked to me but sounded annoyed that I called in.
20 minutes after I called in and ordered I get there and my food is still not ready. No one else is in line but still food not ready.
I ordered the Rigos Combo which comes with a drink. They said they were out of the can of soda or water that the meal comes with.
No discount. No substitutions.
As a business you should be prepared every day to be able to fulfill your orders. Back up water or soda or even just give the customer something better to make up for your mistakes as a business owner.
Either have the necessary items available you need to make the meal or have a discount. Simple.
I asked them for the receipt and it shows I paid
$16.44 for the 8 tacos with no drink.
On top of this they no longer have containers for salsa? So I get it in a bag…
Will never spend another dollar here. You shouldn’t either.

Fresh made tortillas to order for every taco. Good quality meats. Generous portions. And they have a special. Eight tacos for $15 with a drink. You really can’t beat that.

I just moved to the area. I was really excited to try a new taco truck and hopefully it would be it but this wasn’t it. I’ll tell you why…… CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED!!! The lady who took my order was super rude. At first I thought it was a miscommunication so the first time she was rude to me. I ignored it after that she kept saying six to me. And I didn’t get it until I realize she’s asking for money cause she didn’t say six dollars after I got my food. I guess she asked me if I wanted salsa and I didn’t understand her so I asked her if I could get salsa and she said, “ THAT’S WHY I ALREADY ASKED YOU AND YOU SAID NO!” Well dang I looked at her and I finally said to her I didn’t understand you. I didn’t get a thank you and I just got my tacos and I knew from that second whether the tacos were good or not that I would not be returning learn to have good customer service, especially when someone’s taking pictures of the truck. You know they’re gonna be doing a review I’ll be trying to look for another taco truck.. as far as the food goes it was OK. The tortillas were pretty good what I want a lot of them. No they seem kind of fattening. But they seem fresh if you want service with an attitude come here.!

I was hungry and decided to check it out. I looked at the prices and it was 9.99 for a regular burrito, the drinks idk how much they are, but I grabbed a glass bottle coke. I asked if they could do half and half for the meat and she said yes, typically they charge extra for that so I expected a higher price so that was ok. The total was $35!! 35!!!! I asked how? She said because it’s a mix of meat and I said ok??? How is the burrito and drink 35!!!! So they’re charging me 2 burritos for splitting the meat??? They’re stealing money there. Gente ladrona

Me and my husband usually love this place and get burritos or tacos from here fairly often. Recently we’ve noticed that we had been being overcharged by at least $30 and when we brought this issue up to the worker she said “tax” no way a $45 order should have $35 tax to it. We ordered two combos a burrito and a quesabirria and the lady said $80!?!?? My husband broke down the prices to her ($21 two rigos combo special (both combos are $21 total together; even if they charged the $15 combo without the special for two it would only be $30), a $12 burrito, and a $6 quesabirria) we’ve ordered more food before and the price was lower! She had the audacity to say it’s tax. Not sure how much taxes they add to their orders but California’s highest tax is 10 percent so where is the extra $35 dollars coming from. You’re actively stealing from your customers and im sure they do this all the time and now are getting greedier and greedier where it’s very obvious they are overcharging now. Sad but not that sad to say we’ll never come here again. The food is really good but not good enough to be blatantly scammed in front of our faces. Also their service sucks so bad. everyone is rude. I’ve had my order given to other people when Ive called in for a pickup because “the other person was here before” and had to wait like 45 minutes for my food when I was on my work break. too many times has this place genuinely pissed me off due to their poor service. they’ll also ask what salsa you want then proceed to give you the incorrect ones in a passive aggressive way right in front of you it’s just not worth the time or money to deal with. I would spend my money somewhere else there’s plenty of other places that have the same level of food and way better service and won’t overcharge you. I recommend a truck near taco bell in san mateo not sure what the name is but they definitely have the same level of food, way better service and they are open super late night. Tacos al Vapor definitely lost loyal customers today and our workers will never go to their truck again either. So not only me and my husband but also our business will never spend money there again.

Horrible customer service. Ladies were unfriendly! Their menu says that the Regular quesadilla comes with sour cream. They didnt give me sour cream. When I went to ask for my sour cream the lady got so pissed off. Nacos michoacanos

I won’t be coming back.
I placed a phone order for 4 tacos and a super carne asada burrito, and when I showed up, the order was completely wrong. On top of that, I was overcharged (came out to around $41).
When I tried to fix it, the staff acted like it wasn’t a big deal and basically played dumb, even after I explained that I was charged incorrectly. I told them I just wanted to be charged the correct amount, and they refused, saying they “already gave me food.”
To make it worse, when I asked for more salsa, the lady got irritated and asked why I “needed so much.” The attitude was unnecessary and rude.
And honestly, the food isn’t what it used to be either. The tortillas are no longer handmade and it feels like they’re cutting corners across the board, while still charging premium prices.
This place used to be solid, but between the wrong order, overcharging, rude service, and decline in quality, I’m done.
