Read the great reviews and went there on weekday for menudo, unfortunately only serve on weekend. Order their street taco and tostadas and they taste wonderful. Lots of locals dinning there. Grandma of the restaurant heard that I’m from out of town and gifted me a container of her own menudo stash (of course I leave a huge tip). Great family restaurant!!!

You need to experience what the locals do. This place is in the middlee of a neighborhood a long way off the main road. Trust me it was a trip but once there the family atmosphere puts you at ease and the food is good.

Older setting than Aka 2. A little update would be really nice. Great frijoles, chips and salsa with meat and cheese for free..yum. had tacos de tripas…best and crispiest around rio i have tasted. Papa asada was great also.

The food was great, but I could smell the fabuloso from the parking lot. It was very strong and burned my eyes for a bit but once I got used to it I didn’t mind. There were some roaches in the ceiling, but the staff was trained in killing them. The food was worth it, so I would go back but to one of their newer locations. I think Mrs. AKA was there and she was nice.

The food is delicious. Worker lady was sweet,helpful,attentive. Good prices. The only thing was the loud ringing from the vehicles stopping at the window to order. And the window to take orders from the cars being so close to where people eat and the persons just stare awkwardly But i recommend this place to everyone. No regrets.
