One of my favorite things about Tacos 4 Life is their mission: every meal helps feed a child in need. That alone makes grabbing dinner here feel extra meaningful.
We stopped in while closing and decided to get our food to go. The staff was super friendly, everything was cooked fresh, and they even gave us coupons—which we passed on to someone who could use them. Love that kind of community vibe.
We ordered the beef burrito, carnitas taco, fajita chicken taco, and the chipotle taco, along with cilantro lime rice and queso rice. I’ve been sick this week, so I won’t add my personal opinion on the food, but others enjoyed their meals.
Overall, great mission, great service, and fresh food—definitely worth a stop in Jackson!

Tldr: Good flavor, messy tables and mediocre service
I’ve eaten at Tacos 4 Life a couple times before, and frankly, this time was disappointing. The food was great for the price, delicious with fresh ingredients and everything was brought out quick.
However, the staff was less than enthusiastic, borderline rude. Worst of all, there was only one available booth since at least five others were dirty and a couple others taken. The tacos, which are normally served in little metal holders, were brought out wrapped in paper. The serving of chips was extremely sparse, especially for the amount of cheese.
While a decent place to eat for a quick lunch at a reasonable price, the whole restaurant felt unclean and less than welcoming. Not a bad place to try every once in a while for a change, but definitely won’t be back soon.

It was quite expensive, supposedly to feed hungry people. It really just seemed like a marketing gimmick and the target audience for the store is people who get the feel goods by being told nice things, and that believes black pepper is spicy.
If you love cheese sauce, this is your place.
If you like jalapenos, habanero, or salsa then that’s not found here.
I believe the tortillas and chips were bought in bulk quantity. Not fresh made.

Brought a group of 21. Called ahead to give them a heads up. They were the nicest folks. They got our food out fast…and made it even a little more special. Such a kind restaurant from the manager to the employees. I highly recommend this place! Thanks for making us feel special.

Really tasty food and good service! Supports a great cause and there’s not a bad thing on the menu. Great guac and burritos (grilled chicken burrito pictured) and every taco I’ve tried is delicious! On the pricier side, but I’d say it’s worth it!

They stop serving food 1hr to 1.5hrs before they actually close at 9pm. The food we did receive was obviously scraped together with what they had left because they didn’t want to do their job. This is a fast food restaurant not fine dining or a bar. If you close the kitchen an hour before you actually close what is the point of having your hours be 11am to 9pm. Horrible way to run a business.

I order online and pickup in the drive thru so I can’t give a 100% accurate review. The food has always been delicious and comes in large servings for the price paid. I have 0 complaints about the food. It’s the best chicken, beef tacos and/or nachos I’ve had in jackson by far. The service at the window could use a little bit more timeliness and accuracy when filling orders and interacting with customers during the lunchtime hours. But the food does make up for the wait and the reminding about not having all my order before they say thank you and close the window. If you haven’t tried them, you won’t be disappointed. They have been here for a while and I just tried them out a few months ago. Hate I waited so long.

Ke’nia was at the counter and gave great customer service with a smile. She was really energetic and helpful. Ordered chipotle, carnita and Korean bbq. All were made fresh and the service was the best. I will return and my team will all try it out.
