THE BEST TACO PLACE I HAVE TRIED IN UTAH!!! We usually don’t like to eat inside places but them atmosphere is really comforting. They have a variety of things from tacos, quesadillas, esquites, loaded fries and many more! Their agua frescas are really authentic as well!
After reading some reviews stating Tacos López is better, I disagree. Of course it’s not a competition but I will say their guacamole is better and doesn’t have a weird flavor to it.

My worst picture I’ve taken because I was to excited to eat! :)… this was my first time trying a Vampiro and a Mulita.. You can definitely taste the home stile al carbon Carne Asada on the steak, and the Adobado was packed with flavor topped with a very sweet pineapple slice! Guacamole was fresh and they did not hold back on it “)… The Hand Made Tortillas brought out the aunthencity! Tacos 1905 is a must try.

Wow . This place is fantastic. I had the quesadilla with tripas grilled to perfection. The tacos are wonderful and the prices are all reasonable. Highly recommended. Fast and friendly service too!

Probably the best tacos I’ve had in slc so far. They have a big sauce/ condiment bar. The carne asada, birria and beef cheek was tender, fatty and seasoned. They don’t skimp on cheese and guacamole. Tortillas tasted fresh and fluffy.

This place is fantastic. I grew up in San Diego around great Mexican food, and this is one of the few places I’ve been in Utah that holds up.
They hand make their corn tortillas, the meats are really juicy. (Adobaba, Carne Asada, Cachete) are what I had. Salsa’s are all really good.
The owner is incredibly kind, and generous. He has always made sure I’ve been taken care of every time come in. 10/10, come in and support these guys. I need this place to stick around.

Went in today after seeing an ad and reviews. I am not Mexican so I can’t comment on authenticity of the foods—although, all I can tell is that they have good foods! I tried 4 different kinds of taco: birria, lengua, adobada, and pescado. I indeed wanna try their carne asada as well but I was worried that I won’t be able to finish them. Well…next time! I would say I enjoyed everything with adobada was my favorite and lengua is the least favorite. They have salsa station that you can try different things and I did tried them all—and all was good. The staff (I think David) was nice and friendly. He recommended foods for me like when I asked him between carne asada and adobada, he honestly said that he likes steak but pork is many customers’ favorite. He also suggested the drink, pineapple juice, which was also good. They gave me the number so I expected to pick the foods up at the counter (for some of you who are sensitive to tips topics), but they indeed brung the foods to my table. Fortunately I left tips because how friendly the cashier was else I would feel bad. The store is nice and clean with a few small tables. I did find the seating a bit odd as most of the chairs on the small tables face the wall—I guess it’s good when you don’t want to watch people eating but it’s a bit weird looking at the wall throughout the meal. Anyway, with how much space they have, I wouldn’t complain. Overall, I would come back and recommend this place to people. I have to say they are not cheap but not expensive. For 4 tacos and a drink I spent a bit over $20, which might be a bit more expensive for fast foods/taco stand; although, considered that it’s a restaurant, I think it’s acceptable. Oh…they have drive-thru by the way!

Tacos, service, and atmosphere are all great, giving 4 stars for the pricing. Compared to other local taco joints that are similar in food quality & atmosphere, they’re definitely more on the pricey side. For example I paid $10 + tax for a side of rice and beans. I hope they can do some things to bring down other costs to make it more affordable and I’d come back for sure.
All the food in my photo was $50

We had super high hopes for this new taco shop. The food was so bland. In agreement with others who had the same sentiments. The chips and salsa were perhaps the worst. The salsa was watery and zero flavor. The chips were like cardboard and lacked flavor. Our tacos were not BAD, but definitely not on my list of tacos I’d run back for. The staff were great, the interior was clean. But I can’t go back when there are just so many other options that can really “wow” you.

This was my first time. It’s a solid 4.45. I’ll be returning and trying out their carne asada tacos. I ordered the carne asado nachos this round. They were good. I enjoyed the nacho cheese style sauce. I love messy nachos and they did well with that. Restaurant is clean and efficient. So I’ll be going back.
