Good place for quick bites. We went on a holiday..president day at 2pm…not exactly rush hour. Staff was lovely and friendly. Food was good albeit a little expensive….had chicken taco (about 4 inches round) and guac and chips…it was like 3 Oz of quac and a small bag of chips. Everything was very good and perfect for what we wanted…did not want to eat too much as we were having an early dinner. Those 3 items….the 2 tacos (which were extremely small) and quac were $16 bucks plus we left a tip. Not complaining ’cause the food was good and help was friendly. I imagine they get crowded at busy times…probably do a great pick up business. I liked their set up but think many more people could fit comfortably… but I do think they have a robust take out service ♀️.

The taste of the food is great, my kids, who are allergic have always loved it. However, in the past year, they have decreased the amount of rice in the burrito bowl. The bowl has no wrapping, it used to be a hefty portion, now for a growing teen, you need to pay extra to have more rice, which is the cheapest ingredient. I am disappointed with tacoria, bring the original bowl back.

I enjoyed the sort of rustic vibe with the seating and decor in the restaurant, particularly the elevated seating area in the back of the place. It lends itself nicely to potentially getting work done since it’s a bit secluded and quieter, though the food is what you’re all probably wondering about. Well I in particular order carne asada nachos and while I was satisfied with both the portions and the flavors on display I must say the freshness of their produce leaves a bit to be desired. I had some pineapple as a topping and it was a bit on the flaccid side, didn’t particularly have a good bite to it like a proper fresh pineapple would but that’s my only real complaint. The meat was well seasoned and the chips themselves were quite crispy and delicious. Would definitely come back here again and perhaps earlier in the day when it’s more likely for them to have fresher produce as I did come later in the evening for dinner. Overall, I do recommend coming here if you’re craving Mexican.l and want a cozy little spot that doesn’t have quite the hustle and bustle of a chipotle.

The food was ready before we settled onto a table and everything was delicious. There was a mistake on one of our orders and they took care of it right away. Awesome service!

I live in the neighborhood, so I come here all the time. I eat here more often than I should. It’s my favorite place. I love the food, and the staff is always lovely. I also catered a work event recently, and it worked out amazingly. My colleagues loved the food. I gained a few points in popularity at work for sure. Thank you, Tacoria Montclair!

The restaurant has good colorful vibes but it’s not super cosy. The place really lends itself to a take away.
It’s self service for sauces and getting your own food etc. so there are no waiters.
The food itself was very good, but unfortunately super fatty. Do try all of their sauces, they were delicious!

There is limited parking. Ambience was good, food seemed more authentic.. meaning more blend in taste. But the sauces were awesome, you can also get some on the side for more flavor.

Very very yummy food. Very nice staff. The shop has a really cool vibe to it so it’s a great place to sit down and enjoy. Just be aware that the hand made tacos are quite small so you will need to order a few to fill up.
