I loved the food and the shrimp was my favorite! Also that dessert was yummy! All in all an good experience!
The staff was super friendly.
There’s not much space to sit down but they do have counter seating.
Call ahead for daily specials.
The place continues to be amazing! Ordered huraches de carnitas, nachos de camaron, tamales, wings with tostones and chicken in red spicy sauce and everything was delicious! My husband was very surprised that the chicken in red spicy sauce was authentic, flavorful and cheap because it was only $10 and it came with rice and beans! The shrimp in the nachos were also flavorful, but maybe they can omit the lettuce to make it more authentic and they can add queso oaxaca to make it cheesy. The tamales were huge and no more tiny bones!

Although it is only a take-out place, the place is decent!
The ladies taking the orders were very friendly!
The tamales are wrapped in banana leaves, which gives it an AMAZING flavor and it had a whole piece of drumstick in the red tamal, but I did not like the little bones that came with it.
The al pastor tacos were good, although I did not want the “extras” on it- it was my mistake when I ordered because I said to include everything, but I thought everything meant cilantro and onion, not cheese, lettuce and tomato. They’re not authentic if you add the extras lol.
The picaditas, which are like sopes, without the lettuce, cream and cheese, were good too, but not enough meat for the price; maybe add avocado and more sour cream?
The corn quesadilla with carnitas was delicious too, but the quesadilla was a bit too thick for me.
The salsas could be a bit spicier (I’m Mexican), but were good too.
I wish they had more variety of tacos and tortas (Mexican sandwich), but I’m delighted to have them in the neighborhood!
This was my first time trying this newly opened restaurant, and it was definitely worth it. We ordered Mexican Style Chicken with rice and beans and a fried burrito with rice. Both dishes were delicious and tasted authentic like the posters in the restaurant advertised. Everything was seasoned really well and they provided corn tortillas for the chicken dish and two types of salsa per dish to dip our food in. We spent $33 on the food and for the portions, it was worth it.
They are cash only so be aware, but they do have an atm. The Atmosphere inside is really bright and vibrant, with posters and different decorations themed around Mexico. They also have some cafeteria style food options that you can get different size platters if don’t want to wait about 5-10 for your meal.
Overall, it was worth the visit and I hope they stay open for a long time!
Huge portion sizes, lots of meat, absolutely delicious, really authentic food. 100% would recommend this place.
Sorry we didn’t get any pics we just went straight into eating next time we’ll try to remember to take pics before.
