I’m sure the food has great taste but you know what is not great was the outrageous prices on the food and drinks. You can tell that this business is hungry for business due to their prices being too high. Brought my family in to eat during dinner and the sub total came out to $78.92. Keep in mind our kids only got a quesadilla meal each and my husband and I only ordered tacos and one fountain drink. Love the community and the food but let’s work on better prices for families and the community.

Enjoyed lunch here on a work day last week. Ordered 3 steak tacos. They were delicious. The meat was flavorful and the salsas fresh and both of them are very spicy. The tacos came with lime as well and I ordered extra onion and cilantro. It’s nice that this place has a drive thru, because honestly that’s the only reason I ended up trying here that day as I was in a hurry to get back to work. I ordered my food and it took 6 minutes. I will be back to try the quesabirria at some point. There were two turn offs that I noticed during this visit though. First being they ask for a tip at the drive thru window and I’ve never thought that was was necessary. Second was when I went to pay the girl at the window handed me her credit card terminal for me to do myself. Maybe I’m just old school but I’d rather just give you my card and you run it – I don’t work here. But that’s just me. Of course neither of those small things had anything to do with the food quality or service. Both were very good. I’ll be back for lunch again soon.

Great place for Lunch!
I recently came here for lunch and had their Taco Tuesday Special, which was delicious. The lunch came with chips and salsa and two (2) different sauces for the tacos which had the perfect amount of kick to them. I will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu

Brought my family for dinner, just the four of us, price was outrageous! Literally ordered tacos, two drinks and two kids quesadilla meals and subtotal came out to almost $80! Literally, thats not cool, over priced. Im mexican and I understand the business and the hustle but we literally got do better for our community and families. We cant let greed get to the best of any of us. Viva Mexico! Make tacos $1.50 again!

3. You always know a good Hispanic restaurant with their salsa. Even though they don’t look like traditional sauces, just creamier, they are absolutely delicious! It’s got to have a kick and both of these do!

I had three tacos for lunch here, and the place seemed pretty nice. The tacos were amply full of meat with onions and cilantro, and the salsas were flavorful. It was quite filling. There were plenty of aguas frescas arrayed along the front counter, and the place had a cheerful atmosphere. It seemed like it was popular with workers while I was there. The staff was friendly enough, and they brought the food out to me. I wouldn’t have any issue with trying it again.

Super cute place- I love the tacos. They give free chips + salsa as you wait. I have never waited very long here. Always out of Mexican Coke BUT I forgive them because their Birria is amazingly good. They really have a berry flavorful consommé’. This time I ordered the Birria Pizza which was good but the cheese was not melted all the way. Cannot find my pics! I will go back soon!

We first tried them out of their food truck and now we’ve eaten at their physical location. Both experiences were great. The service was quick, kind, and helpful and the food is undeniably rich and delicious. The value for money is right on as well. Highly recommend checking Tacon Madre out.

Food has not been good that last few times going there. Barely any seasoning on tacos and none on the chips. Even when requesting extra seasoning on chips and still getting them with none.
