Really nice place. Was recommended during a business trip.
Service was great.
Atmosphere is nice and was able to sit outside with their heated terrasse.
Tried the guacamole: fresh and good
Yuca fries: nice taste similar to fries.
Tuna tartare and chicken skewers were good among the appetizers
The taco trio is good. Comes with banana plantain

Great happy hour menu! Had margaritas, tried 3 tacos, 3 tamales all with awesome taste(chicken, beef and pork) and delicious. For appetizer we had the happy hour loaded yucca fries, and beef chilli so good. Amount of food was surprisinly lots. Next time we will order less for 2. Great service.

We had my dads 50th birthday at Tacomida, Ryan was our party host and did the most INCREDIBLE job at hosting us.
Food was 1000/10 off the charts delicious and just kept coming. Emily, the bartender was so bright and joyful and had the best recommendations, drinks just kept coming and the margaritas were perfect!!!
We absolutely will be returning for the amazing food, on point staff and artsy atmosphere.
*also, bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a restaurant*
It was truly an outstanding experience!!!

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars, but despite almost all food being home runs, they had 1 serious strikeout. First, the great – definitely order the chicken borracho. It was insanely juicey and tasty. Also, definitely order the cornbread. I’ve had Mexican cornbread at several places, and this is by far the best I’ve tasted. The Mexican style lager, East Lake, was a great complement to the food. Also very good was the salsa, plantains and black beans and rice. Now, the strikeout – the grilled ahi tuna. It definitely smelled off, very off. We sent it back. So, I have to say stay away from that dish. The waitress was extremely apologetic, and she did her best to make up for it. Problems happen, so efforts to make up go a long way. I will come back to this place despite the problem, and I still highly recommend you try it. Last thing – they have outdoor seating for summer.

I had been wanting to visit Tacomida for a while and it did not disappoint! I visited for brunch last Sunday and loved their options. The chilaquiles were delicious, the eggs and steak were perfectly cooked, and I appreciated their willingness to make me and a friend some mocktails. The tacos were amazing and left me really wanting to come back to try the rest of their menu!

Food was great. Place had a nice ambiance and is out of the way. Waitress was a bit forgetful but she was also waiting on the whole restaurant. Staff were very friendly. And they had a great happy hour menu.

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars but it’s lacking. There was barely any meat in any of the already small tacos especially the fish one. For almost $4 the baja taco should at least have a slaw or something. It feels very empty – maybe it’s the tiny 2 oz bit of fish. The flavor was there I will say but the rice was mainly beans. My other complaint would be the napkins. We got 2 napkins and when asked for more we got 1 more. I can tell why this place is missing patrons on a Saturday night. It’s a great concept like bartaco, difference is the portions to price aren’t worth it.

Amazing happy hour from 3-6 pm (M-F) with really good deals, if you’re kinda broke this is a good place. Hard drinks and big portions for 3-6 dollars. Food is tasty. I was surprised about nachos and tacos were good. Not in the happy hour special but sweet plantains were exactly that I want them, soft and ripe.

We came for their happy hour. Their happy hour is a wonderful deal and some wonderful options. Will definitely come back again. My personal favorite were the yucca fries.

I’ll preface by saying the food is tasty. I was a big fan of the few things I got.
The reason for the low stars however is the price and the laughable portion sizes.
The prices on their menu online don’t reflect the prices you’ll pay. We paid about $10 more than I expected when I went to pickup. Everything was uncharged at least a dollar or two more than the menu said. To put it in perspective, the tiny handful cup of rice in this picture was $5 or $6. The taco I think was $4.50? It’s not even palm sized.
We paid $50 for basically snack sized portions for two people. That’s insanity…the trend of being greedy has got to stop. Either lower your prices or up your portion sizes to reflect it or get put out of business by places who will.
